Moved PawPaw's deck post out of Coy's detail thread. And the forum kept glitching after I tried quoting PawPaw's post once it was in this thread. Forum would show the post quoted, but it was trying to post it back in Coy's thread

This may seem like a silly question but can a attorney represent both sides in a court hearing?

All I seemed to get when I typed it in was divorce which isn't the case, hopefully dad is just confused on it. Nothing I can do but am just wondering. Just seems strange.

My in-laws used the same attorney when they got divorced back in the '90's but that is the only case I can think of where it would be acceptable.

To complete the story, my in-laws got re-married within a year -- we always joke that she realized she could live very well on only half of his money.....
