47 over this way...almost a 30 degree drop from yesterday morning. Lot's of bad weather came through last night plus a few tornadoes that touched down not too far away.

Got my coffee but the cornbread's not finished yet. I like that banana nut bread too with my coffee. Glad I'm retired and don't have to work on any holidays anymore!

Caught a rock driving in from Athens last night. Now have a star right in the middle of the windshield. That didn't take long to get.

Holidays were just another day when I worked for Texaco. 12 hr shift's at double time and a half made it bearable. When I finally got to work in the office no more holiday working for me!
