Happy Easter everyone!

Terrible weather over here...thunderstorms with lots of rain that we don't need.

Was over at the local park this morning around 10:00 so the wife could get her workout in and the boy and I could throw the football around for an hour or so. Felt bad for all the people who showed up for their Easter picnic only to find out all the picnic tables were already taken! Ton's of people were already there setting up and most of them had grabbed two tables apiece for their crowd. Lot's of irritated people walking around talking on their cellphones trying to figure out a "Plan B".......

Someone suggested taking 281, but then said it was out of the way to get back on 35. Haven't checked the map yet to see how far outta the way. I'd rather drive a few extra miles and still be quicker than sitting in traffic forever.

Happy Easter! We're not doing much at all today. Celebrated yesterday with some of the family.

I was thinking the same thing -- that there has to be some state or local highway that would swing you around the west side of Fort Worth and then you could catch another local road that would bring you back over to 35 on the north side of DFW. I rarely, if ever, travel the far west side of Fort Worth, so I'm just not that familiar with that part of town.

Its amazing how better the truck drives with the slip yoke tsb again. I didn't think it was that bad as it just started making noise a week or so ago. But now it goes into gear very easily, no thunk, sometimes cant even tell when it goes into gear. No more vibration when taking off and for some reason it seems to be shifting better. I want to load up a trailer now and see if the vibration when towing has went away.

I was thinking and i didn't have the problem until the last time i got the yoke greased. If the take off the driveshaft i just wonder if they didn't align it right?? If thats even possible.

Anyway glad its as smooth as it is now, It's crazy how use you get to something and you don't considered it being bad until its fixed and drives like a new truck again.
