Hopefully they can get it taken care of now before the warranty's up without any hassle.

Poor thing, I didn't have the heart to press the pedal. I idled all the way home at 40 mph. Luckily that was the speed limit.

Unfortunately most technicians refer to this condition as warranty-itus. Meaning you bring it in right before it expires and try to get a ton of stupid things covered.

They can refer to it anyway they want. I have complained atleast 3 times now on the vibration and also had some suspension concerns over the last few visits. So they can easily tell I'm not making the crap up. I'm going in there with my A Hole card pulled and see if anything gets done. Being nice has never worked at this dealer. As soon as I hear the can't replicate the sound I'm pulling my phone out and show the video and then we are going for a drive with a tech.

I've got denied on every warranty concern except for a speaker and the front cover leak at this dealer. Everything else they say is fine which is BS

Hopefully it doesn't get worse over time like mine has. As you know the thud is probably the slip yoke. Use Mercury Marine Grease with Teflon and it'll work. Mine has been quite for 30k miles now since the other dealer used the marine grease. The Ford stuff didn't last a month
