The initial damage was done 3 weeks ago but approx 4-5 times since then that knee has given out and the way the doc explained it is that each time it gives out its doing more damage

Possibly tore the acl mcl and meniscus

Only the mri will confirm the damage

Sorry to hear about the knee. That is no fun at all. I need to have both knees and a hip replaced but trying to make it without it.

Made it to Damon about 11:30 last night, long day. At least it's not raining this morning.

If you were 10-15 years younger I'd tell you to go get it taken care of right away. However, at your age, I might be inclined to see if I could get by without surgery at all -- but all that dang yard work you are always doing around your properties sure can't be helping things!

You seriously need to look at getting into a living arrangement that doesn't require so much physical labor just to keep the place looking decent! With the way the housing market is up in DFW right now, I seriously think this would be a great time to sell if it's anywhere on the horizon! I personally know (3) people who have sold their homes in the DFW area this past year (1 in Aledo, 1 in Lewisville, and 1 in Forney) and all 3 got top-dollar and sold their homes so quickly they had to scramble for alternative living arrangements!

Man, 765 miles in 11hrs and 14 minutes run time. Averaged 14.8mpg running 80 mph (85 percent of the trip) with a loaded Down 6x12 cargo trailer and bed of truck full. Damn wind fought as all the way.

got home, decided to grab a bite to eat. Got on the loop and a rock smacked the windshield and put a good size chip in it. Good thing i have unlimited replacements for 5 years with that crystal fusion company that the dealer uses.

Had a 25 mph headwind going down to Damon yesterday, 17.6 mpg. Just got home, wind behind us, 20.9. Ran 75 everywhere I could.

I'll be up in Nashville all of this coming week for our annual department meeting at the corporate office. While it's always nice to see my co-workers from across the country, it is also a killer because it takes me completely out of the field doing my regular work for an entire week.....

The following week I am already booked with a field inspection in Austin and then a short (3-day) trip back up to Minneapolis. I have other inspection requests coming up on the radar screen right now that I am simply telling people they will have to wait for until the 3rd week of February at the earliest.

While I guess it beats being out of work and looking for a job, it sure would be nice to have some extra help to carry some of the work load! Hopefully I can make a convincing argument for this to the boss this coming week up in Nashville. Last year when I brought it up, they basically told me I was the only field rep who was swamped with inspection requests and that the rest of the group was essentially playing the role of the "Maytag Repair Man"......
