I will be starting my workouts this evening. I have decided to go ahead & do them from 10-11 in the living room & tape my fave shows in the bedroom. That way I can watch them while I wind down before bed. I also have to bring my scale up from the basement so I can have a number consistant to my next weigh in.

I will consider the number this evening as my starting point & will post it tomorrow.

What the heck is going on here??
We've got LGJ & Mr Pitsburg bodybuilder in this thread!

No offence guys, but if you're not a lardarse, a Cartman, or an all arounf fat "biatch", you guys should go and start your own thread, and beat it.

You could call it "Which Speedo looks best with a red shirt" or "I buy my Speedos at "X", and love their service"

Other topics might include:
"Do you hand wash your speedo, or put them in the machine?"

or

"2 for 1 speedos now on at Sportcheck - free delivery"

If you're actually counting calories taken in and haven't found it already, this is a pretty helpful site for when you don't have the labels in front of you:

http://www.calorie-count.com/

One thing I saw online once was a guy that took a picture of himself without his shirt once a week. It was amazing to look at the pictures and the changes. I've started that today but will spare you guys the pics

Easy now! I'm actually with you guys about getting back into shape! I'm not here to poke fun at you guys, I'm here just to merely encourage every one else on!

:shuffles away:

Fine, I see how it is...

I'm with you Joe.

From the age of 20, I put on about 2 - 3 lbs per year.
That's not much over 12 months but when you do it consistantly for about 25 years, there's a problem.
It's much easier for you to start now than end up like us old guys.

Go for it

OK...So I suck...I ate crap and drank beer all weekend. I just couldnt seem to motivate myself to even start dieting last week. I guess stress at work, and issues with my woman didnt help either. I have a book that im gonna read to help me get started, and another book that has all foods in it that are good for you and all that jazz. This weekend I was at a friends house and had my camera, when I looked at the pictures from the weekend and seen someone had taken a picture of me from the sideI was like O M G!!! I look like total crap. I couldnt believe it. It was so bad I deleted it right away. I guess I shouldve kept it and used it as my motivation. Well any encouraging words would be great. I need all the help I can get.

Habibi...Great job brother....keep it up

LGJ..You aint goin nowhere. You stay right here with us and lose the few extra lbs you need to lose. Maybe you can give us some inspiration and motivation..

Actually, I'm disappointed in the lot of you.

How many of you have a Twinky in your fat little fingers at this very moment?

Yeah Dawgs... What he said.

Did someone say Twinky?

I might have gained a pound or two. Because this damn snow won't go away long enough for me to get out and hike. But, I'll do without a few meals and walk the 2-mile trail twice as much when it clears up. Oh, I heard that ginseng (sp?) tablets gives you a boost of energy. Any truth to that?
