$100.00

Thats about the range I wanna stay in. We are gonna do some shopping around this weekend and price something that will fit our needs. I will basically be using a flat bench, some type of lat pull machine, something for doing flies, and something for legs. I'd like to get it all in one machine.

Thanks for the info LGJ

I hear ya man.

Some bigwigs are at the office today doing meetings so the office manager had lunch catered in. About 2 minutes ago there comes a note that says "come get what's left". I'm having a hard time convincing myself that the tuna fish with noodles I brought is waaaaayyyy better than the filet mignon with red wine sauce, potatoes, etc, etc, that they are offering.

I think I'll go for a walk until that stuff gets gone.......

Unhappy

They give you leftover food there? Man, why can't I find a job like that.
The only notes that come from the head office here are stuff like:

'Heads will roll! (except for the blockheads)"

It's just Steves way of letting me know he's the boss of me.

Actually, a long time ago I was the Grand Pooh Bah.
There are a couple of other truck sites that are using that title in their member ranking scheme now. I think that's pretty funny.

That was pretty tasteless but could have redeemed itself by being funny.
It wasn't

Everyone has different goals in life. Here's a couple of guys that would never join in this thread.

BTW, I was 195 last week, and I held my own, still 195.

I have had some success this week. Started at 186, hit 189 Sunday (topped off by munching my way through two football games), then got scared. Hit the grocery store and stocked up on fresh veggies and low cal Ranch dressing. Now I'm munching on baby carrots, celery and broccoli dipped in Ranch dressing instead of potato chips and pretzels. Been getting my workouts at work (I climb trees for a living) and was 181 this afternoon.

I'm staying busy with work so my lounging days will be reduced. I'm even working Sunday for a house mover- I get to ride on top of the house and cut trees out of the way as the house gets moved (about 5 miles).

Week 2 Results & Update (Fri Jan 28) 5 Pound Loss

The last 2 weeks in review:

Friday January 14th = start date = weight was 333.0 pounds
Friday January 21st = 318.4 pounds
Friday January 28th = 313.4 pounds

So far that's 19.6 pounds lost in the last 14 days, and today
marked my 11th straight day at the gym doing one hour of cardio.

Can't wait to crack the 300 mark!

Hope the rest of you fatties had a successgul week.

Good job man.

Your keeping a log book of your progress? Good idea. I wish I would have done that.

Thx bro,

I keep a spread sheet on the fridge, and every Mon - Wed and Fri when I weigh myself, I write it down beside the corresponding date so I keep track of my progress.

It's good to keep it on the fridge (for me) because when I have a urge to reach for something that's a "no no", I look at my progress, and it helps keep me honest.

We all have our own mindgames and whatnot that we use to reach our goals, that's mine.

Thats even better then a workbook. A spread sheet on the fridge. Thats a pretty good mind game to play with yourself. Sounds like your on the right track. I'm not much of a cheerleader, but I will do what I can.
