Hey everyone I have lost about 6 pounds so far. That makes about 30 more to go.

I want to let you all know that I have commited myself to doing a marathon. I have never done this and it's something I want to achieve.

I also want to let you know that I have joined Team In Training who will help me train for this marathon which is in June on the 5th in San Diego. They have many chapters throughout the U.S. team In Training also collects funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through donations. Team In Traing has helped me set up a website to collect donations. I talk more about Team In Training and about the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All of us volunteers (me) have a set minimum amount to collect so if any of you want to help me out by donating which is 100% tax deductible here is the website...donations for leukemia

I will let everyone know of my progress and good luck to everyone on getting closer to their goal weight!!!

    My progress after 1 week.

I lost 2 pounds! & that was without doing anything Sat or Sun.

I know I need to do more cardio & aerobic exercise now before I do any more toning, no sence in having rock hard abs if there is a layer of flab over it.

I was surprised a little after counting my calorie intake all last week (& eating like normal). I don't eat nearly as many calories as I thought I was.

I went shopping with the kids Sunday & bought a lot of fruit, salad & yogurt (on sale 10 for $4). I brought in some tangerines, apples & bananas to work. I made a small fruit bucket for when the munchies hit (they do almost daily at 3).

I tell you those 2 little pounds are a great feeling of acomplishment. Makes me glad I worked out a little harder last night.

    Onward fat bastards!

Thanks. I was actually surprised to see my weight last night. I hadn't expected to loose anything being my first week & I had ate like normal.

BTW: nice piece of equiptment. I wish I had space for something like that. I love lifting weights.

Thats about the range I wanna stay in. We are gonna do some shopping around this weekend and price something that will fit our needs. I will basically be using a flat bench, some type of lat pull machine, something for doing flies, and something for legs. I'd like to get it all in one machine.

    Thanks for the info LGJ

Well, this is general discussion. Things are usually a little off topic in here.

It has to do with proven amounts of weight Fords can carry.
