I've lost 40 pounds in the past year. The high weight for me was 300 lbs. My self imposed incentive was that I promised myself that if and when I reached 300 lbs. I would either commit suicide or lost weight. Needless to say, I'm still here and 40 lbs. lighter.

Hi my name is tom and I'm a fat a$$. My heavyest weight was 191, It my not sound like alot but I'm only 5'6". I quit drinking soda bout a month ago and I've lost 10lbs. I use the treadmill at least 1\2 hr every night. I also changed the things I eat. No bread or pasta, Just potatos and brown rice. Oatmeal for breakfast, salad or low carb type lunch. My goal is to get rid of my b!t(h ***** so my wife will stop complaing. Good luck to all with the weight loss.

I am 5'11" 301lbs and I have started a diet but things are going slow cause me depression medications make me gain weight damn cymbalta.

I'm not fat, just husky or big boned. F-ya, I'm 6'6" and 285 lbs, I'll knock you stupid, BBQ ya then feast on ya. The next poo consists of you! It's fun bieng this big, scaring the hell out of people by mistake or little effort.

Well every few months I stop in and look at this thread, and I finally decided to get invloved in it. I'm somewhere around 5'10" or 5'11" and I weigh around 220. Always wanted to lose a bit of weight, but I was never actually motivated enough to do it. So now I decided that I have nothing better to do with my life than work out. NTM there's a very good possibility that I will be joining the Marines, and there's no way I'm doing that without getting myself into shape first. I cut out sodas except when I go out to eat, which cuts out probably 3 or 4 per day, and I've started exercising a bit. Nothing scheduled or routine, but I try to do at least some sort of exercise every night. Tonight I walked around 5 miles and I hope to make that a nightly thing, or at least do it 4 or 5 nights a week. I need the other 2 nights to do the one thing that I will not stop doing, regardless of how counterproductive it is, and that is drink beer. I'll just have to exercise more on the other days because I refuse to give up beer lol. So anyway my goal is to get down to around 180. Oh and I've also cut down (a little bit) on my eating. For instance, I used to eat two cookies and drink a Coke for breakfast every morning before work (healthy, I know). I changed that to just eating an apple. I find that I feel better and more alert for the first half of the day by doing that. It may all be in my head though. So I'm sure everybody stopped reading a while ago because I'm just rambling, but I am kinda proud of myself for finally trying to get on the right track and hopefully posting this will help keep me from straying.

^^^^^exactly!! im 7 foot tall and have been over 300 since high school! it really works well on the road when someone wants to screw with you. all i have to do is stand up!!! its great!!
