Update, next week.
Well here it is. I'm done. Tomorrow I'm going to start eating "normal" again while still exercising to see what happens over the next 2 or 3 weeks.
Jan 24, 2005
Age: 36
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 242lbs
Jeans: 38 loose fit (fit tight)
Run: about 100yds then walk 1.5 miles (4x week)
Jump Rope: about 3 minutes (4x week)

June 16, 2005
Weight: 181lbs
Jeans: 32s!!! (I haven't been here since before going off to school in '87)
Run: 3 miles (4x week)
Jump Rope: 10 minutes (4x week)

No gym this time, just typical warm up cals (crunches, push-ups, alternating toe touches, jumping jacks and body twist), jumping rope and running.
I think the biggest factors during my weight loss were:
1. 0% alcohol
2. only one diet Mt. Dew a day
3. 1300 to 1500 calories a day
4. getting off my butt and moving around
Overall, I'm pretty happy and I feel great. I can play with the kids all day long and not be sweating like a pig while gasping for air. I weigh less now than when I got out of the military and thought that I would at least have some type of outline of a 6-pack. I'm guessing my age and the amount of sodium I take in have something to do with it but really...I'm too old and too married to care at this point
PS - I took these pics at 5:00am before going to exercise which partially explains why I look so "happy" for them.

Well yesterday the scale ticked in at 299.5. 2lb loss over last week. 1 day in the gym and a lot of back stretches this week. Gonna get one of those huge rubber ***** to work the back with this week. Good to be below 3 bills again, but frustrating to be this far off my target. Stupid back.
184, down another pound & officialy below m pre-pregnancy # 2 weight. 10 lds more & I will bge at pre-pregnancy #1 weight.
I actually rode the exersize bike for 2 minutes last night. I was down there changin loads in the laundry & jumped on there. I am going to try & get down there for a few minutes each night to used at least one of the machines I have down there.

Update
Ok. weighed in at a whopping 210 last night. I still need to wait for the doc to give me the green light to get back on the weights. I am loosing weight, but loosing a lot of muscle mass.
Jeans fit good though.

Nice job Chknbone
I kick myself for not taking a before picture. Here is the best I have:
Pic with the Ex, about 2 years ago which was about the same weight as when I started in January. Dont have a shirt off pic, but you can pretty clearly see how big I am I think. 250 lbs. tight size 38's
and pic of now, minus the ex and the shirt. 178 Lbs. perfect fit 31's
this is a before and NOW shot, not AFTER. I refuse to ever go back to my old eating habbits, because I know exactly what that will lead to. I think I can live the rest of my life perfectly happy eating the way I do now. Eat healthy most of the time and splurge every once and a while.

Back is better, still baby-ing though. Using the pool at the gym and working out the abs hard this week to build up back strength. Using my little body ball thing (kinda fun actually) and stretching alot. Maybe after another week I'll try the treadmill again...
