(sarcasm)Nice going D(end sarcasm) Keep up the effort Rocky. Try finding some toning exercises that focus on your problem area. Once I get down another 10-15 pounds that will be my next step.

I am back to 191 here.

I was actually 188 Sunday morning, but then hubby made breakfast, pancakes, oatmeal & sausage links. Man was it good. Oh well, back on track this week.

Good job man.

What is your secret diet?

I could stand to loose a good 60lbs myself.

Please share

Weighing in at 260. OUt of breath, sweating like a pig bastard.

I just push-mowed a yard, weed-eated a 150 feet long hillside that had grown about over a foot high, trimmed four big bushes with hand clippers (not the electric kind), raked up the bush trimmings which was thorns, holly leaves, and poision oak, hand pulled a 6' x 6' patch of clover by the roots (oooh my legs), and dug up two small trees. Oh, and sprayed all the areas where the weeds were at with Round-up weedkiller so they don't come back. lol. AGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!! I hate frikkin' weeds! There, I feel better now. I look like I've been swimming because I sweated so much. And I've got a red swollen spot on my arm. Problably poison Ivy. lol. I feel ALOT better after working hard all day. I weigh in at 278-279 lbs now. That's a milestone for me because I haven't been in the 270 ish' range in about 3 or 4 years. I can remember weighing about 5 or 6 months ago, and I weighed 295 lbs. I'm trying to eat just two meals a day now. Once in the morning, and again at about 5 or 6 pm in the evening with as little snacking as possible at night. And I'm trying to keep myself busy. I think that's the key.

Off topic, but Roundup is a systemic herbicide. That means it is absorbed through the leaves. It is inert in the soil. This means that when you spray dirt, you are wasting it. Spray it on the green leaves and let it absorb in.

Poison ivy sucks.

Thanks for the info Rocky. I sprayed it on what few little root stems that were left sticking out of the ground under the bushes that I couldn't get to by hand. I just wanted them dead and gone. Will that work ok? Alright, back on topic!

Well, two bad weeks and I ticked in at 305 (rounded up) last night. That's a 6 pound gain from my low of 299 a couple weeks back. Last week I only hit the gym once, tweaked my back so that kept me out, and just pigged out. Pizza, Chinese carry-out, other yummy stuff, pies... oh man what a great week. I was like a fat kid in a candy store. But alas this week is going to be my week, and the weight-loss mentality is back. Went to the grocery store and stocked up on good stuff, and hear the gym calling my name today. A minor set back, I'll miss my goal for the month but I feel better for doing it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention all the booze consumed this week as well. I know at least a pound of weight gain was the booze. It was our mixed bowling league's year-end event. Golf, dinner, casino... a 10 hour bender. Just like last weekend, totally worth it.

I'm 5'11 and 209. Doctor called me overweight. I amost reached across the table and punched him. I used to weigh 248 and he decides 209 is too much. I had gotten down to 188 and EVERYONE i knew said I'd lost too much weight so i came off atkins 2 years ago and have slowly crept up to my 209. Wife and I joined a gym last week, so far I've taken 3 of the "spinning" classes (OUCH) and 1 of the "abs" classes (DOUBLE OUCH, Still hurting nearly a week later) My goal is to be a Solid 190, any less than that i think my face starts to look shrunken. I also dont wanna be a little fart either. I like the fact no-one really messes with me cause I'm a Big guy. I havent had Fast food in over a month, that was one trip to mcdonalds almost by force. before that it had been like 3 months no fast food.

Good Luck to everyone else. I plan on havin @ least a 2 pack in 6-8 weeks. These spinning classes are real murder.

Oh and a not so funny aside, Aparently my body has just informed me I've been eating too much salad. If you get my drift. Oweeeee

Just got off the scale. 303, 2lbs less than last week. Woulda been better but the last 3 days have been carry-out or fast food thanks to no groceries in the house. It's been yard work 12 hours day... I figured that would balance out the poor eating. Guess not. Hit the gym 4 times this week as well.

The last 15 pounds just went away, now it's getting tough & driving me nuts! Seems like if I look at a twinkie now I don't lose anything for the week.

When it starts getting tougher the reward of losing even a single pound is that much better.

My sister offered me an exercise bike that was her ex's (he left it in the house) & I may have a line on a treadmill. I am going to havfe my own personal gym in the basement here shortly. Rob goes on layoff on the 13th & one of his projects will be to reorganize the basement to make it more functional throught the year, instead of just for partying in the winter.

Actually it sucks **** when your bustin' your ***** for a measly pound or two when just a month ago you could drop 3-4 instead. I despise losing just one or two pounds in a week... that means I didn't go enough.

I made two mistakes tonight. I weighed myself with my cloths on & before my evening dump. After correcting both of these issues I stepped on the scale again. This time reading 301. 4 pound loss. I feel better now, and can finally get some sleep. Ahhhhhh... zzzzzzzzzzzzz
