I actually am doing a doctor's weight loss plan. I take medecine every day that causes loss of appetite. I have cut back to about 1/3 of what I use to eat. Also, I am eating natural grains instead of white bread and processed carbs. But I eat whatever I want. Just less of it. As a matter of fact I eat , , and , just less of it at a time. The best thing about it is I don't feel any different from the medecine, but from the lost weight I feel a lot better. I start walking next week. Thanks for the support. 220lbs, here I come.

I write regrettfully that I could stand to lose a few pounds and although I have shed some weight, I could stand to lose some more. Thank you all for the support that we give each other, and good luck to everyone with this tough goal.

I think I weighed 280 the last time I posted. I just started to watch what I eat and started an exersize routine last week. I think I've lost quite a few pounds. Been running on my treadmill at night. I am not going to weigh myself until another week has passed and see if my routine pays off.

I see no need to weigh everyday because weight fluctuates day to day from water retention. I drink a gallon of water a day. I'm starting to eat right (as in cut out soda pop and junk), and get in at least 20 minutes or a little over a mile on the treadmill at a moderate jog starting out. Seems to be working so far, and I feel 10X better.

Next week I'm going for 2 miles on the "mill", and eat alot of high protien-low-fat foods. I'll weigh in next Monday...

Evening all... Just sitting here with a cup of reading through allot of what people are posting on here. I am glad to see that there are so many that put them selves on here and support each other. 240 here and wanting to loose before :santa: Before I started with the fire department I was 180 and well you know we eat well. When I got married I decieded to eat a little healtier and well you know how it goes. Well long story short, I left the department and now run a Cardiac Cath Lab and see just what my own lifestyle can do to me in my patients.

Hoping to get to 200 and rid of the extra tire... good luck to you all..

I am still bouncing just below & over the 180 mark. I did hit 178 this week (a new low for me). My neighbor asked Rob if I had been loosing weight. People are really starting to notice altho nothing drastic has happened recently. I just think my body is reforming itself more. I still want to lose the next 20 lbs.

I sit here watching the Biggest Loser & I realize I was the same weight as some of these women. I have seen pictures of myself over the last few years and I know I looked like them & don't want to ever again. I am determined to get to my goal weight by next spring if not sooner.

Thanks Buck.

I was 177 last night. Only 12 more pounds to go.

Hubby mentioned he was down to 215 (not sure what his goal is).

So far we are just watching our portions & he is working harder at work (not that he really has a choice at work).

It's been 20 days since my last post I'm at the 300 mark. Couple lbs lost here and there, limited gym time thanks to work. Perhaps I'll be buff for next swimsuit season...
