Some of that is also the penetrating oil I used, but yeah, pretty dirty.

Well I bit the bullet and got new tailpipes and tips installed. To keep cost down I kept my muffler. By doing what I did I changed the look and the tone. It now has a more rumbled sound and just sounds better. Still no drone!

Brand new exhaust!!

Old setup. Sorry for the bad pic! Going to to remove the tips and sell them!

Friday I took the truck in to my mechanic, because my rear pinion seal started to leak. I found it is very common on 04-08 years. They put a new one on and flushed the rear end fluid out. Everything looked great at 75K. I wanted them to put a new FPDM on you should have seen my original one it was cracked in half. They asked me how the hell I even got this far with it. lol

So far so good.

The last time these were changed was April of 2009. I'd would guess that there are about 30-40K on the plugs. The truck ran fine except when under load at low RPM. Runs great now though!

Gotcha, I've used those leds for my toolbox lights. Are they on the inside of the lens?

AK cowboy, or...you could avoid patronising Amazon altogether and go directly to the source, https://www.superbrightleds.com, it's what I'm gonna do. Or, you could go to Real Truck...https://www.realtruck.com/

Not using Amazon is personal for me, Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos has come out against Donald Trump for president.
Not only should Amazon and Bezos stay out of the political arena, I think anyone that doesn't support Trump's presidential aspirations can't really call themselves an American (IMHO).
I mean, he has no reason to run, he's already rich (Billionaire), already powerful (Real Estate Tycoon), already a man of distinction, so why open himself up for a media rectal exam?
Or you could not push your opinion on others. Just because something is "personal" to you doesn't mean it has to be for everyone else. I'm not trying to start a conflict here, but you kind of came out of nowhere with this.

Well, I didn't do this today, but I figured it still counts I put a set of Airlift bags on the rear to help with the race trailer! I only towed the trailer once about 40 miles round trip to see how my truck liked it, but Friday I went probably 160 round trip with it loaded and they helped tenfold. Super impressed with them

Ignore the fact that I was in too much of a hurry to cut the hardware down picture with the trailer is with them at about 50psi

Point taken, offending passage removed.
