Replaced both upstream O2 sensors. Bank 1 connector was not fun to get at. Checked ebrake scissors to make sure they're still free'd up. Bled the brakes. Adjusted tire air pressure back to 40psi after some trial and error. That was it for this Sunday!

 

I had a broken leaf. This pic is the driver side of the 3/1 leaf spring. #3 is broken and hanging below #4. The clanking was from #3 slapping #4 when I drove. Corners or not made no difference.

 

 

Spring cleaning

 

Replaced my PS fluid reservoir as my old one was leaking around the cap. Only $25 for a new ford one from tasca, so I did the whole thing instead of just the cap.

The clamps for the hoses weren't fun to get off.

Got another set of chrome clad wheels today. The set on my truck had some issues and they didn't spin true. After rotating my tires recently and having the bad ones up front, I can't take it anymore.

These are from California and have no rust, look good enough and I just spun them on my friends balancer, they are 100% true. Need some new tpms bands and I'll put them on this week.

Almost bought a brand new set of alumnum wheels a month ago. But decided I honestly like these chrome clad wheels on my truck better.

 

Replaced my alternator. Mine buzzed at idle since new and recently was whirring pretty loud until it warmed up so thinking the bearings are going. Pretty early to replace with only 33k on it but easy and inexpensive enough to just go ahead a put a new one on.

Radiator flush yesterday at 237,830 miles....she ran like a top before, now even smoother

 

Today, I treated my truck like it was my wife. I said nice things to it, I rubbed it, I cared about it (from my heart) and I drove it like it was new.

God, I love this truck!

Edited to note that I am only love it as a person can love any machine. :-)

 

Did my spring detail today. Clay, pollish, coat of liquid glass, chrome polish on wheels and steps, tire shine and trim. Still need to do glass and another coat of LG with a coat of colinite 845 on top.
