Finally was able to order all my parts to replace my leaf springs (two springs, new bolts & nuts, and a 3" block to replace the 2" factory) and was tracking them from the three corners of the U.S. hoping everything would come in time to do the work this weekend.
Nuts & bolts came from NY yesterday, springs came today from KS, and the 3" block is now held up for delivery due to weather...coming from NV on Wednesday....
So do I install the new springs now and do part of it over again when the block comes in? The block is easy... oh it's so tempting...
My stock springs were rated at 1,700# but the difference in price for an upgrade to 1,900# was only $25.00 per side so I went with the 1,900# rating.
Now that they are here I see a big difference in the thickness of the springs and stack....these should be good..may not need the 3" block.

With the thicker springs, and your current ones probably sagging a little from be worn, Im also thinking you may not need the 3" block.
I used the have a 3" block in the rear and it made the truck tall! I have a 2.5" now and might even go back to the OE 2" that I once had.
Picked up a brand new set of takeoff's from a 2016 with Michelin 275/55/20 LTX MS2 skins. Love the look and ride. Need to reset the rev per mile with my Livewire TS.
Gonna be some nice mods in the next few weeks. I will finally I stall my front Rancho 9000xl shocks up front (did rears in the fall). Pulling the belltech drop shocks out and using my belltech drop spindles. Just have to blast them and paint since I bought them used last year. Also ordered front and rear Hellwig sway bars so I should have quite a nice handling sport truck this month.
Thanks TG24. I installed Rancho 9k's last year and really like them. My preference is the firmest setting.
It's only a matter of time until I pull the trigger on the Hellwig rear sway bar kit...
[QUOTE=2008_XL;5195201]Cleaned the interior. Drivers seat is still a little damp and splotchy.
Still no drivers seat rip. Guess I'm lucky! I do abound sliding on that edge area getting in and out though.
Looks good! Did my interior yesterday also with very similar results.
Also adjusted my parking brake cable, as it was getting close to having
to press to the floor. Next time around I will probably tear it down and put new pbrake shoes and hardware kit on it.
