Off we go! After work im taking it to a trusted guy in stl, who offers a good warranty. He built trannys for several turbo'd and kenne bell lightnings, who have put 40k+ miles on them with no problems.

LOL dude im at least puttin my tran into a truck bed... i do have to ask, i thought u were going with alan & ddp?

i dont think my probe hatch would clear the 4r70w btw... either way im not testing since im not in the mood for pushing a car 30 miles lol

haha yeah, well this is my other ride, and I only own 1 truck so works for me! I was going with alan, but I decided against it when I talked to a few guys from st.louis who had their lightning trannys built here.

same basic tranny as the E40D just a different name.

the 4r100 has some harder parts in it. e40d had some that were made of aluminum that didnt hold up as well. but yes basically same lay out

bobs transmission. www.bobstrans.com My tranny can be picked up tomorrow. clutches were fried, a drum was warped and burned. getting all steel parts put in, performance valve body, race clutches, and all new electronics inside. Can't wait!
