What? I'd put them on anyway. It's a truck, most people don't equate them with fast anyway.

BTW, Awesome swap!

i would get the v-10 emblems, most would think you were a pretender.

i wonder how it will perform

lots of torque but only 10 more hp that current 5.4 and less than the nissian, toyota, dodege and chevy. i cant imagine it running faster than 15.4

the blown harleydavidson f150 had 340 hp and 425 ft torque and went 14.9 to 14.6

now once the mods start, that is a different thing.

How much for just the engine, wire harness and PCM? Don't need the tranny unless it is Manual.

price just dropped.

:santa: no problem. I tell you what price just dropped to 700 firm I really would like to sell and another v10 150 out there would be nice. I think this is very reasonable in price. If need be I can always store in a corner and stuff in in a "hot rodder" in a couple of years.

You guys need to find a way to communicate privately - you are only supposed to sell and trade stuff here using the classifieds.

My specs show 300+ hp for v10 vs 260 or something for a 5.4 for my year. The one thing i was thinking of but couldnt find is a real weight of my truck vs. a S.D. vs a new f150.

I'm sure like everyone else, I would like to know what the mileage is like now. I am also considering a swap like this in the near future.

Well......

Long time on logon. I thought i would give a brief update. I have driven it about 40,000kms. No problems. It tows our camper like a beast. Steep hill rarley drops out of over drive. Have done some minor upgrades. New procomp heavyduty rims and BFG MTKM2 tires 305/65/17. 4 PIAA lights on the bumper. Put a better remote oil filter kit on. I was getting 20mpg or so with the old tires i would say it dropped only a little with the new tires and rims as they are about 3 times as heavy.

The only thing i am thinking on these days is what to do to upg the brakes. I have gone through a few sets of rotors since the swap . They just dont bring down the speed the way i would like. Dont want to spend the crazy money on the baer stuff. Any ideas would be welcome. I am using the best ceramic pad all around from car quest and thier premium rotors. I tried some other pads and rotors from raybestos but they were no better and huge $$$.

Also I took those new tires for a run in some mud and climbing and its crazy awesome off road.

Thanks
Josh
