Hmmmm......

To fund this i should write a manual . Getting those tbars ordered today. Got a bit of the small fab work done, trans cooler lines and mounts, power steering lines, got the y pipe done and fix the ford stupidity. The stock y pipe actually drops to about 1.5" for 2" on both down pipes. That seem a little crazy so i little plasma cutting and a LOT of mig wire and gas and presto y-pipe with no less then 2.25 diam collecting into the stock 3" pipe to a 3" cat.

Thanks
Josh

I get that question alot. What about the fuel economy. Dont really care. I dont expect it to be too nasty but whatever. As long as i can shred tires as will i am all good.

Josh
Shouldn't be too much different as the weight the vehicle isn't changing much, just like the 5.4 V8 gets about the same mileage as the 4.2 V6.

Either way, sounds fun.

Progress Report

Well the project is moving along fianlly. Got the Tbars out of the aarms and finally got the new tbars. They are the correct ones spring code 7 did the trick. I got 7700 springs for the rear from a boneyard as they are disco'd by everyone else. Got the tcase attached last night. That is a big step as now i can finalize the motor mounts and drive shafts and many other items. I have ordered my drive shafts from a local shop. They are to be done for friday. If nothing else goes horrilby wrong might be able to start it this weekend .

Thanks for following along.

It Lives :):):):)

Well she starts and makes lots of noise. No exhast just manifolds. Couldnt wait . I only let it run for about 5 secs as i didnt want the flames to melt anything. It responded to thortle input so thats good. Just got to put drive shafts and exhaust on and tidy up some wiring. I think thats it...... Dont care it ran . Should have a full test later tonight or tomorrow am.
