I have a few trailers these days. It has kinda become the tow beast. I have a 27ft enclosed car hauler goose neck style. No problem at all. Our 31ft Travel trailer is like its not there. So different than the 5.4. Really different on hills barley ever kicks out a overdrive. Real nice for pulling out the boat launch too. Gets attention thats for sure. "hows the f150 pull that big trailer so easy". I just smile and say its a Ford

Ford should make the V-10 an optional engine in the F-150!

A good bit better but it was basically a brand new v10 setup. Only had 20,000 on the odo.

Would need a new procharger is suspect to feed the larger displacment. I have considered it but bought a GT500 instead. Figure 600+ lbtq would break the frame .

Hmmmm... Sorry not sure. I dont think it would be much different. If its 4x4 whats the tcase in the v6?? If its 2x4 it is a way simpler swap. I have never done anything or even seen an f150 with the v6 so i dont really know what the fuel system is if its different. I did nothing to the fuel system rails line right up at the firewall with the 5.4 - 6.8 swap.

just add a larger crank pulley or smaller head pulley, the P1 should be enough for a stock V-10 to get at least 15#

Not only will that not happen, I hear that Ford is going to completely discontinue the V-10 and put the 6.2 in the Superdutys pretty soon.

Yep i hear that too. Too bad really but i guess they need to keep things fresh. 2011 or late 2010 i hear. But they do have the 6.2 in a f150. I am sure you all know the Raptor... My next "work" truck .
