Look @ Bill Gates: "Who's ever going to need more than 640k of ram?" That went over real well, huh? Didn't stop people from buying more ram and discovering that it was beneficial, now did it?

"Whats the purpose of performance modding a fullsize truck, that weighs so much when you could've gotten a Ranger and been much lighter"

Ask Ford why they built the Lightning....
HAHAHAH!!!!!! I like that about the lightning. Yes you are right!! I like buying stuff just to see how it works, plus it looks cool, and off a friend for 45 bucks. You can hear the intake gurgling harder, because of more air going In, but it's only good to about 65mph after that too much air is being sucked in by the engine itself. So i hit the toggle, and kill the blower. Im about to sell it. Another friend fell in love with it, and will pay 120!!! ahaha not bad hu?

ANyway........Yeah, performance is what im looking for in this full size truck with a 6 in it. A truck on 22's and air bags is nice also!!!!!!!! BUT THAT"S ALL SHOW N NO GO!! hahaha. you got to have both or it just ain't right.

Hence the reason I said if. Just because you joined in April doesn't mean you've read everything that was posted. I'm not trying to start a war here, man, so just let it go. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and get the last word in...

I don't own a F-150, that's why. I came to ask a couple questions, and was just looking around the other day and stumbled on this thread. Sorry I have more to do in life than post on a vehicle message board I don't even own....
And I'm sure you've read every thread that has been posted since may...

And I've read more around here than I have posted.

He's talking about this particular thread, not all of them. And why are saying that you have more to do in life than post on a vehicle message board you don't even own, when here you are, posting on a vehicle message board made for a vehicle that you don't own. At least we own the vehicles this website was intended for.

i have no idea if the kid bought a f150 but i got lost in all the posts. I am a young kid also and i have a 03 5.4 liter V8. Is it fast no. It is decent but i think my 4.0 liter v6 sporttrac would have beat it. Bottom line is if you want something fast get a mustang gt or up wit a stick and then u will have something that is fast sounds good will get peoples attention....... also that can go round turns safer at high speeds (trucks just CAN'T go around turns fast) so my advice to you is ditch the truck idea and get a car because if u are like me you want to be able to get up and go and keep up wit that guy at the track. Just my 2 Cents
Just want to add i am not saying going fast is what u should be doing exspecially when ure young like us. I want to end on saying what ever you get drive it real slow and dont act like a dumb>>> with it cause acidents happen in seconds.
