why would u guys Mod a V-6 in a truck? I'd be a shame to have a v-6 as a truck

 

HAHA!!! Well........Different reasons. Eveyone knows how the V6 sounds like, and looks. And yes they are really slow stock. I like to call mine a sleeper truck. It will dust non supercharged V8's, trucks with no problem.. ANd sh!it on suv's.!!!

You just don't know what it is, to make slow vehicles move faster. Plus, you learn while u do it.

That is a picture of my 99 F150 4.2 L. 4x4. My whole build was documented on this forum. In short I was running 12 LB. of boost on custom intake, headers, 32 lb. injectors, custom exaust with crossover, custom MAS air meter,Boost gauge, air/fuel gauge.And all of the other little parts that go with it.


I built all the brackets intake pipes and exaust from scratch!

The truck went from 0 to 60 in 6.9 seconds and it's four wheel drive don't forget.
