and I promise you you will be in another zip code before he knows what hit him.
a dodge hemi is a pretty stout motor.

So what's ur point btw?......
THat supercab you drive is a slow moving truck, and you know that!!
I KNOW THAT. Even if it had equall mods, you still wouldn't have **** against mine. Too big, not enough engine. Unless you spercharge it, then u might have a chance.
Sorry for ya!!
But you'll be sucking my tail pipes all day!!

This was done on 20''. I can do better on stock rims, with performance tires. Im almost sure i can get low 15's this way, but got to wait till spring when track reopens.

If that's what you meant to say the first time, then you should have said it. Next time pay attention so as not to look ... I'll leave it a that.

By the way if you could comprehend text on the screen you would have understood what I was trying to say in my first post in this thread.
You asked why Ford built the L on the F-150 platform, that's why, a 380HP SC'ed engine, in the smallest F-150 bodystyle also.
It's his truck he can waste money on what ever he wants to. I was just wondering why he would get a V6 F-150, and try and make it a performance truck. Next time you want to call someone stupid try and read what they typed.
By the way STOMP I know some nice companies where you can get built 4.2L V6s to swap into your F-150. If your intrested shoot me a PM.
Well, I've got a 4.2 and it's slower than molasses.
Of course, I really don't proclaim it to be fast anyway.
I barely got edged out by a Silverado - at the next stoplight, he started talking **** and I asked him what he had - when he said "I've got a V8" (don't remember what size), and started ******* the 5.4V8 that he ASSUMED I had, I said "Well, man, I've got a stock 4.2V6" - that jaw drop that followed was worth losing for. I couldn't beat a Focus in my truck. Does it bother me? Naa...I'll give others the satisfaction of beating me.
Now, our 2005 Explorer - stock V8 - that's another story altogether. I kicked the CRAP out of a 5.7 Hemi, and I made a Silverado SS look pathetic. As a matter of fact, the only vehicles I've lost to in that SUV was a Saleen Mustang, an SVT Lightning, a Probe that was torqued up to hell and back, a Jaguar XJ10, and a Corvette C06. 4/5 cars belong to the fabulous Ford family.
Other than those listed above, every Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Nissan, and Toyota truck or car that I have raced, (including the Avalanche in that mix), I have won in that Explorer. That includes beating a Camaro Z71, a stock V6 mustang, several toyotas (including an old Supra), and one very souped up Hyundai Tiburon that I BARELY beat. I want to see how I would fare against a Ram SS/T - I'm afraid I would lose that one pretty badly.
Anyone who says that their stock V6 F150 can beat ANY vehicle other than a Focus, Aveo, or Prius is lying through their teeth.

I feel somewhat weird saying that, but it's the truth.
There is so much diarrhea in this thread.
Your v6 f150 will never be fast for the money... By an old f-body and some Nitrous Oxide or, if you want to stick with a ford Pickup, a 4.0 ranger with the 5 speed auto and some good upgrades would make a good sleeper. The v6 f150 is pretty much a work truck.
<rant on the stupid Hemi marketing>
I saw Hemi in there a few times used as definition of a "stout motor". The hemi is, was, and always be a passenger car motor. Anyone that has followed the drag racing scene since the hemis inception knows that its riddled with problems when trying to run high compression. When running high compression, the Hemis would typically knock the ring land off, get blow by, fry the piston and huff the whole motor. The Hemi design is probably the worst combustion chamber design.

Nope, you said "Whats the purpose of performance modding a fullsize truck, that weighs so much when you could've gotten a Ranger and been much lighter".
All I said was ask for Ford why they didn't SC a Ranger for production. Why did they do a F-150?
Then you asked why he bought a full V-6 instead of a Ranger. I said pay attention to previous posts. That way you'll know why next time. Insulting him for what he did because you don't know the reason is what made you look stupid. LOL.

Think about it. It's like walking into the middle of a conversation and trying to add your input. Unless you really know what's going on, most of the time you will sound stupid. I'm not trying to rile you up or get under your feathers, but know a little history. If you haven't been here that long, read through some posts to get a feel for who everyone is.
