But now, since they've hiked on emissions laws, it is near impossible for the average person to own one.
I also remember when the diesel engines only used to cost an extra $800 to $1000 extra. Now they are like a $5,000 to $7,500 extra... almost like you need to be rich to drive a diesel truck. Not to mention the service costs associated with them these days with all of the electronics.
I dunno... part of me still wants a diesel... and a good portion of me doesn't.
Personally... I don't have anything to really haul right now... but when I get out of college, in 1 semester... I should be making decent cash. I don't have a girl friend, so I can spend all my cash on toys.
Will I keep the v6 F150? You bet... no reason to get rid of it. It might be slow... but it is turning out to be one heck of a truck. Who knows, with the cash I'd be making, I could spend the $5,125 on a blower from STS (yes I asked them about the new turbo setup for the F150) and that would make it a sicker truck.
But personally... I'd just buy a diesel and keep it for the nicer days or to haul stuff that the F150 shouldn't be hauling.
I'm going to miss going to college in some aspects... but I better get more towards reality.

They have the best gas in the world... I dunno who their supplier is, but that gas is THE best.
