Write-up: Auto Spring 2.5" Leveling Kit Install
good write up. Helped me out a ton. I was wavering whether or not to get an autospring or hellmetal or whatever its called. Gona go with an autospring. Any other suggestions? you think i can run 33"s with a 2" lift with no rub?
Also I have a Hell Bent Steel 2.5" and would strongly recommend it.

Good Luck!

First post ftw!
Anyway great write up. Just put on a 2inch as kit on in about an hour and a half granted I have proper air tools and a bad attitude, haha.
Don't know why everyone has so much trouble poping the ball joint out, two raps and it out...
Now my 04 scab 2wd is as tall in the front as the boss' 08 ltz max 4x4 chevy. He's not happy.
Now I just need to wear my tires out to buy some meats

I just installed the same kit on the same truck and was pretty easy. The rear blocks are as easy as 4 nuts on each side and lifting the leafs off the axle to insert spacer and bringing it back down in place, then putting u bolts back in place. Follow this write up and have the tools he said and it will go pretty easy.
Excellent write-up! Just to let others know, I had to go get a deep 30 mm socket. The pitman arm puller made easy work of that ball joint. I'll get some pictures up soon. Another note, I did the whole thing on my own. I recommend getting someone to help.
