Thanks for all the complinments guys I can't wait to have this install done. I am shooting to have it done by the end of the month so we will see. I have about 1/3 of the complicated stuff left. The last big hurddle will be getting this massive 12 under the seat without a lift. Once that is done then I really don't have anything but the install itself which is super easy.

Have not been around for a couple of week, had to get caught back up.

JD I did see the monster sitting in the line of trucks behind Anderson yesterday towering above them all. Looks good from the road, I would guess better up close.

05 speaker pods turned out great, leather looks good.

05_suprcrw-how exactly do you plan to get that sub under the seat? What is the mounting depth? Looks to be a tight fit!

Looks like we might get a little snow tommorow but nothing like the mess they have up north!

Well, I had another packed day, so, no LED install, no amp install. *sigh*

Tomorrow isn't looking good either.

The mount depth is 6.3" and I have about 5.875" so I am going to have to play around with it, but I think if I tip the sub to about a 20 deg angle I should be fine. Only time will tell, I guess worse case scenario I turn the center console into a woofer enclosure.

And thank god we won't be getting that mess that is only going to further delay this very long install I have already.

Just running out of patience... LOL

I want all this stuff done before summer hits, because I plan on either being on the river, the lake, the motorcycle... etc etc...

I know exactly how you feel. I have sooo much left to do on this install and I have given myself a deadline of the end of the month. I still have to figure out if I will get this sub under my rear seat or if I will have to think outside the box and try a center console box instead,( I really don't want to but if required I will).

Oh I did however finish my leather "krohbar" mod as well this weekend. I will get pictures of it when I get home tonight I for got to upload them yesterday.

Worked on the truck for the most part of all day on Saturday. Got the fuel filter done, peice of cake. Got the spark plugs done, really wasn't that bad. #7 on the drivers side (second from the back) was the hardest one to get too. It is under the fuel rail stuff. The coil bolt was harder to get out that the plug itself! And then the coil connector broke so I had to zip-tie it on for now. I found a used wiring harness at work here and cut off a new connector I can splice in to fix that. Otherwise it went really smooth.

I also got my add-a-leafs installed. Boy did that really help the rear end! Lifted approx 1 1/2 inches. Only got to drive it yesterday in the horrible wind but can tell it handles better now, less body roll. Did make the ride quality a bit rougher but with the big tires it's a good thing. Now it looks like it sits about perfectly level - maybe just a hair higher in the back if anything.

Also cut off my stock muffler. Just running it straight to the point where the muffler attaches. Surprisingly it's not loud at all! In fact, I think the straight exhaust on my '07 was louder. I'm almost disappointed! But, it's better than stock for now. Eventually I'm going to do a true dual setup with hopefully some high-flow cats, x-pipe, and mufflers dumped.

Yea gap guards are done. I don't think I lined up the drivers front one perfectly - but technically they are installed. I will re-do the drivers front one eventually. So now all my parts are installed that were ordered in.

What am I going to do now??????

Supercharger...... I wish.....

Actually I remembered that I still need to get my Edge converted to a Gryphon so I can correct my speedometer and get some more power that way. I emailed Cory at the end of last week but haven't heard anything yet. So that will be my next project I guess.

I had an idea the other night - do any of you guys go to the Culvers on 70th on Friday nights when all the cars/trucks/motorcycles get together?? I wonder when that starts up again? Might be a cool place to have a local F150 member meet. Would be fun to all roll in at the same time. What do you guys think?
