As I stated earlier, my buddy took his dad's 08 Z71 out to pull it Tuesday.
These guys looked at how little my truck saged and how well it pulled it out, they said bringing that Chevy to pull it was akin to bringing a knife to a gun fight.

I hooked up my truck, and it took it down in the back a little bit. I was impressed with the low end torque pulling it out of the farm place. Only got it up to 50 mph or so, but I can really tell that I'm yanking around over 8k lbs worth of trailer. My trailer brake controller comes in today, we'll pick the camper up and bring it home tomorrow.

NICE! Yeah F150 > All when it comes to towing.

Nice camper Krohbar....Its great getting a little escape from everyday life. I bought an acreage about 2 months ago and love living outside of the city. I can ride my dirkbikes right out of my shop and ride for hours and never have to worry about my neighbors complaining that they are to loud. Now I see why you needed the tow mirrors!!!!!

Well boys, I might be getting a new bike today. I feel that I found a very good deal last night on the way home from work. I decided to stop by Scheel's just ot see what they have to offer. Turns out they pretty much only sell this 'Fuji' brand of bicycles. If you go up a couple of posts - I had posted a CL ad for a used Fuji Nevada 1.0 for $500. They have the exact same bike brand new right now for $399.

I called my mom last night. She lives in Portland, OR. She is a bike road bike rider. Has a pretty fancy Giant roadbike with all the extras. She's had it for at least 5-7 years now and her cat-eye computer has logged more than 17,000 miles on it!! She rides the Cycle Oregon ride every year now for the past 3 or 4 years I believe. It's basically 100 miles a day for a week straight. 2,000+ riders attend this event every year. It's pretty crazy. But anyways, back to my original point, is I asked her about Fuji bikes and she said they are just as common as Trek on that ride. They make some really nice road bikes so she's assuming their mountain bikes are just as good of quality. They had a full carbon fiber road bike that was approx. $4,500 at scheels too - thing looks amazing!!!

So I think I'm going to head back down there this afternoon and take it for a spin in the parking lot and go from there. I'll keep you guys posted! And again, thanks for everyone's input and advice.

Here are a few pictures I thought I'd share that my mom sent me from her Cycle Oregon rides. Some of them are pretty neat.

Wow! that looks like it would be a lot of fun. I bought a bike last year. Well it was more of a father's day gift from the wife and kids. It's not an expensive one, just a cheap one from walmart. That looks like a nice Ty.
