Anyone in the Omaha Nebraska area?
Ya I have got the clipless Shamano psd xxx(don't remember model) which are suggested for mountain biking, but I think for as aggressive as I ride they will help. I shouldn't have to many fall issues and if I do then I will address it. But I figure got to at least try them or I will keep thinking I need to.
Okay, I'm going to look at a 33 foot pull behind camper. Sucker weights in at 7700 lbs per the mfg sticker. Something tells me that's gonna be a load for my fiddy. 1990's something prowler.
Going to be close to 9,000 lbs all loaded with gear and supplies probably. Pushing the limits but it'll do it.
WOW!! My bike weighs a TON! In comparison to the trek 4300 I test drove on yesterday's lunch break. I didn't get to ride my bike last night but even after a full day I can easily tell the difference. When I got back from my ride tonight I put the bike on a bathroom scale out in the garage and it is just a shade under 50 lbs!!! I believe the trek was like 24 if I remember correctly. The rear suspension just felt sloppy too tonight. I really need to upgrade sooner than later.
Anyways, here is a pic I snapped on a quick break in the middle of my ride. Some pretty nice scenery along the way.

By far the best brake controller out there is the Prodigy P3 for our trucks and it is very reasonably priced. Plus it will connect right up with the F150 and is already wired are ready to go. You can get an F150 wire connector for it, for an additional small fee that will make it the easiest to install as well.
Out of the three different brake controllers I have had experience with this was by far the easiest. Very simple to program almost bullet proof menus and settings so you cant mess it up. Does your camper have electronic brakes? If not the controller will not help you.

I've never heard of one that attaches to the brake pedal before. I have had personal experience with a prodigy though. Works very well. Have had it in my last 2 trucks. Just haven't gotten around to re-wiring it to work with my '01 yet.

Yeah you need a new bike like yesterday lol. I think my Trek weights 24 lbs.
Oh I know I can't wait! I don't know if I want to spend the money on a new one though. Might wait around for a used one to come through craigslist. I'm going to try to hit the used bike shop on my lunch break too see what they have. Didn't have much on their website but doesn't look like it's been updated for a while. I just recently got into biking, like maybe 2 months ago. I have had an ongoing shoulder issue with my rotator cuff muscles that has prevented me from going to the gym in like 4 weeks now so I've just been concentrating on doing some biking in the meantime. I've actually lost about 6 lbs just in the last 3-4 weeks now so I'm off to a good start I think. Just need to get some better equipment now so I can keep going with it. Living in the country the gravel road that I travel on is perfect because the difficulty is constantly changing from little to big inclines. Give a good workout in the 6-7 miles.

Good deal, I would definitely go with the prodigy then.
And that is awesome Ty, I know riding in gravel is a challenge then you add to it the hills and it does not take long to get a good workout going. Trail riding is very similar if not more grueling if you get into some of the fun trails.

Well, since I had to work Royals last night, my wife and my buddy took his dads 08 Silverado to go look at, pull it. He said it was a beast. Means the fiddy will pull it no sweat...
