Looking forward to some pics, boz. Who is doing your work? Are you getting those wheels you posted earlier? What kind of tires? Man, your truck will look so different with that.

I definately want to do some RAGBRAI next year! It was a perfect day. This week isn't going to be so bad, mid 80's. Could be so much hotter.

I was told to just use a "Y" connector. Not sure about that.

Ultimate Truck in Millard is doing all my work. They thought it was going to take 2 days but it only took 5 hours to complete. I picked up my truck yesterday at 3pm, but I haven’t had a chance to take any pictures yet. I want to at least wash it first hehe. Its dirty with all this rain we have been getting. It looks awesome!

I was originally going to get the Motel Metal 957 Gloss Black Machine, but because the offset was -12mm, they would stick out about 3+ inches, so I decided to go with the Motel Metal 951 Chrome mounted on Nitto Terra Grapplers 325/60R/18. They have an offset of +30mm and only stick out about 1/2 an inch. I think it looks better with the 951’s.

However I think I will have them add a leaf in the back because it sits higher in the front with that BDS 2 1/2 inch leveling kit. I take it to West End Audio & Upholstery in Elkhorn tomorrow to have my CompusStar Auto start and Alarm system installed. They are putting in the CompuStar Pro P2WSSR.

If you have a Facebook account, you can see pictures and video I posted of this year’s RAGBRAI, it was a lot of fun and crazy seeing 15,000 people on bike riding through Iowa. I highly recommend going once, just to experience it.

I'm glad I did the add a leaf to my truck. Get that little extra lift, didn't notice it affect my ride much, 'course my tires would hide most any change in ride!

Here are a couple pics of my cheap easy bike rack. I know I got the fork clamp crooked, going to fix that :o 2x4 sits in a groove in the bedliner, and is bungee corded to the ties downs. Honestly doesn't move. I know people could steal bikes out just by lifting the whole thing out, but I only haul bikes to trail and back, never park anywhere with bikes left alone.
Room for 3, depending on handlebars height. Have 2 fork clamps in their now.

Yup, still around. I moved to a different house a few months ago and havent bothered with getting internet yet, so I dont have a chance to get on much anymore.
Truck has been fixed for awhile now. I took a couple (ok like 10) pics after I washed it today. Truck was still wet when I took the pics and a 5 year old could take better pictures than I can, so you guys will just have to deal with it lol.
Im kind of regretting putting the honeycomb style grille on it. I thought it would look a lot better than the original FX4 grille, but Im not so sure now that its on there.
Anywho, only thing different from before is the paint work, fender flares, and grille.
Painted 3rd brake light, emblems, and harley tails have been on longer than I remember.

Im done with it as far as looks go, other than switching back to the FX4 grill or an aftermarket one...maybe Harley headlights too.
Still need new rubbers..bad. I was actually just looking through some post and found a new (to me anyway) site sponsor..Treaddepot.com, that has Cooper Stts for 202 bucks a peice; not a bad price (325/60/18)

Stereo is still just 'there', havent done anything with that for a looong time. The tweeter in my passengers door always had a very touchy terminal on it, must have been cracked or something...body guy must have finaly done it in when he took the door panel off or I did it and didnt even notice, but I think its done for. I just dont want to fix it I should say, I figure its a good excuse for new tweets anyway since these have always been a little to bright for me. Probably go with a set of Rainbow Cal27 silks (have Cal 25 metallics now). Doors still need deadened and sealed...redo the box and amp mounting.
I started working on a small/cheap setup in my 97. Pioneer HU I bought for 30 bucks (deh3600 I think lol), RE RE components Ive had laying around for years, 2x50 RF amp I bought new for 100 bucks. No idea on the low end yet...something that doesnt take up much space, single 10 maybe.

Thats about all thats new with me.

Looks nice! I like the honeycomb grill. Wish I could see your hood a little better. Like the flairs too I think it came back together nicely.
Definately Harley headlights would finish off the front
