That looks really good krohbar. Now I just need to actually stretch the leather on mine and finish gluing it down. I am hoping to do it tomorrow.

What are your plans to finish out this little project?

I have a .030 piece of lexan that the vinyl is applied to, that will go behind. I am going to have 2 small socket head pan head stainless steel bolts on either side to mount the plate to the dash tray. Then, LED backlighting when the time comes around. I have a fuse box that I bought to mount in the dash area somewhere so I can start putting some switched lights in.

I'm subscribed instantly to this thread. Depends on if I am busy at work or not as to when I get to the email that leads me directly to the new posts.

On a side note I was getting a bad vibration at higher speeds, especially with the little tires on. At 60 mph the speedo was reading about 80. Was really bad between 70-75 mph on the speedo. Still is there even with the bigger tires on it so I took the driveshaft out to inland truck parts today to have it balanced and they told me it was bent. So they are replacing the center 'tube' part of it (much cheaper than buying a new driveshaft). Should hopefully be done today still.

The funny thing about that is - is when I was typing it, I just knew someone would say that!! I couldn't figure out another way to describe it though.

I too find myself in the same position (like right now ), sucks about the drive shaft. Hopefully that fixes the problem though.
