No offense Ty, your '07 was badace, but I'm kinda excited to see all the flat black on mine and mud grapplers
No offense taken. It's kind've like my truck is going to live on.....or something....

It's going to be sweet with the black wheels and the grapplers. I like black wheels but me living on 2 miles of gravel road prevents me from doing so. They would never be clean. Can't wait to transform your truck!

I'm soooooo glad it's Friday today! To bad the weather is going to be crappy this weekend though. Should be nice today at least.

Took a pic this morning when I got to work. I think it's kind've funny.

BTW: If anyone is interested in a low-profile bug deflector from my 2001 as seen in the first picture, let me know. I have no need for it anymore.

I still have the oem bed extender from the '07 available too.

what would you want for the bed extender?

and speaking of extra things... I have a bug deflector that was on my truck before I got the Roush scoop, just taking up space in the garage...

The Creation of Nebraska

THE CREATION OF NEBRASKA

Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, God was missing for
six days.
Eventually, Michael the Archangel found Him, resting on the
seventh day. He inquired of God, "Where have You been?"

God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed
downwards through the clouds, "Look Michael, look what I've made!"

Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?"

"It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put life on it. I'm
going to call it Earth, and it's going to be a great place of
balance."

"Balance?" inquired Michael, still confused.

God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth, "For example,
northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth,
while southern Europe is going to be poor; the Middle East over there will
be a hot spot. And over there I've placed a continent of white people,
while over here is a continent of black people." God continued, pointing
to different countries. "This one will be extremely hot and arid while
this one will be very cold and covered in ice."

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a large
land mass and said, "What's that one?"

"Ah," said God. "That's Nebraska, the most glorious place on earth.
There are beautiful lakes, rivers, sunsets and rolling hills. The
people
from Nebraska are going to be modest, intelligent and humorous
and they are going to be found traveling the world. They will be
extremely sociable, hard working and high achieving, and they
will be! known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of
peace."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but the angel proclaimed,
"What about balance, God? You said there would be balance!"

God replied wisely, "Wait until you see the idiots I'm putting
around them in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota."

Well here is a little update on how things are going.

The amp rack has been finished. I have color coded tech flexed all the wires. I made my rca's and put them through the board. I got my 8 ga speaker wire for the sub ran through the board.

and I know I have to give an update on the speaker pods so here it is. I am just finishing up wrapping them up and I still have to mount the tweeters in them.

Here is a few misc pics of the build as well:
The twisted 8ga next to 1/0:

Here are a couple shots of the amps with all the wiring hooked up:

500/1

300/4 bridged

Well back to work I go.

Looking very nice, 05. That 1/0 has to be a be-otch to work with! I think you made the right choice with the leather on your pods. Should integrate with your interior nicely.

That looks sweeeeet! Very nice work on everything. Can't wait to see the interior of your truck all gutted out for the install. It's going to be clean. The leather does look good on the pods.

JD790, the pictures that compare your two trucks are great. They are parked in the same spots, as you can see by the streetlights in the back. That was pretty cool!!

Well I went and saw Fast&Furious tonight at AMC Theater in omaha and it was B@DASS!! The best one yet I'd say and there were some sick *** cars in the movie as well as in the parking lot. We pulled in there and there was a 99-04 GT Mustang, next to it was an 03-04 SVT!! Cobra AHDHFIONEKLD!!!!!!!!!!, next to that was another 99-04 GT, then like an '05ish corvette(z06), then an 05 or newer gt(orange with bodykit and looked like A LOT of goodies), and there was a ton more cool cars too.

GREAT MOVIE! GREAT STORYLINE!

The best part is because fast&furious 4 takes place between the 1st one and the 2nd one actually, it's cool how they did the movie.

I was happy with the movie. I'm honestly more of a car/powersports guy, but all I have now is the truck so I'm modding that

Now go and spend an arm and a leg to see the movie!!

EDIT: I'm not a chevy fan at all. I have mixed feelings on dodge/mopar, but the charger from the 1st one, well you get a glimpse at it and HOLY BONERIFIC, I WOULD LITERALLY GIVE A NUT TO HAVE THAT CAR. AMEN.
