Anyone in the Omaha Nebraska area?
You can do it, but your truck is going to feel REALLY sluggish and your mpg's are going to take a healthy plunge. If it were me I would run 35's with the stock gearing I had just long enough that I could afford to put the bigger gears in.
Front Diff Pics
Almost complete with the front!! Diff is being put back up into the truck as I'm typing this. Tech will be taking it out for the first test drive shortly. I'll be driving it home tonight. Can't wait!! I'll report on the rpm difference at certain rpms, etc. tonight when I get home. Here's some pics -

Body lift is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am this Saturday. Wheels and tires should be mounted + balanced tomorrow. So if all goes good - should have some initial 'done' pictures on Saturday afternoon. I'm sure I'll have a lot of cleaning up to do - like with the tow hooks, will have gap guards to install if we don't get that done on saturday, etc. Just depends on how far we get by 3:00 on Saturday.
Sweet!
I can't wait to see it all come together! Easily going to be one of the bigger trucks in town now. I can only think of a handful of other trucks that have ya beat
Well at least you will be able to find your truck in the parking lot.

Drive home last night was pretty slow and easy. Didn't try anything since it was the first coulpe of miles, I babied it the 18 miles home. Did notice that my speedometer is waaaaay off now. When the speedometer shows 60 mph GPS reads 43.3 mph.
This is all with the stock tires. With the stock 3.55 gears @ 60 mph I was running about 1,600 rpms. Now at 60 mph (gps reading) rpms are about 2,200. With the big tires on, I'm sure that gap will be lessened quite a bit. Will still need the edge/gryphon to get it perfect though. After I get a few more miles on it I will get on it a bit and see what the power difference is like. I can already tell though that is is quicker off the line for sure. Doesn't feel like it would take much to break loose the stock tires.
Almost got wood when I saw this for the first time.

Ya you will definitely want to baby those gears the first 50 miles then after the first 500 give it a differential fluid change and you will be good to go.
Those tires are sweet
good wheel choice it will really set that truck off once you get them on.

Lookin good guys.
Silver, you have any wheels picked out yet? You are going to HATE that truck with 35s and 3.55s too...I would anyway. You can run that combo just fine, it wont be fun though. I cant even stand 3.73s with my 33x13s...
Ty, that wheel/tire combo looks great. What size are those again? 38s?
