Anyone in the Omaha Nebraska area?
That is sweet JD, I am guessing you don't have an auger bit that you could bore a hole in each tie and run a piece of rebar down threw each of them and into the ground. And if a bullet does hit them there will be enough would around them it won't matter much. It is a lot of work but also probably the best bet.
Dnkrm that is a very good looking rig you have there. What are your plans for an audio build?

I am hoping to get a double din screen of some sorts, I was going to get the Pioneer P4000dvd, then I thought about the F700BT to get the navigation. Later I heard the F700 does not play DVD's which is an option I would like to have. So I thought about the F900 or F90 but they are a little pricey and I have heard they had a lot of problems. So I might be back to the p4000 and just use the garmin for nav. From there I have a kenwood amp which I plan to power a pair of clarion 10" subs with. I would also like to upgrade to components in the front doors but that might be down the road. I like your pods, they look pretty sweet! Can't wait to see them wrapped.
JD790-I was planning to snug them down this afternoon before I take off to northwest Iowa, what is the torque spec on them? Not that I have a torque wrench yet, but I need to get one. later

I am considering getting rid of my Pioneer Avic D3 because I want to upgrade to the F90 so I don't have to have disks for the gps. But it is a very good unit with tons of control features. So if you were possibly wanting that one maybe we could work something out. And I would even include the wiring harness for you so it would be plug and play for ya and the install kit so it would be a very simple swap.

Dnkrm, the truck looks good.
And I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make it to the meet yet. I know the wife has to work this weekend and I don't have anyone to watch the kids.

Exhaust turned out great!! I want to thank Tim at Olsen Auto Service in Blair, NE. He knew exactly what he was doing, easy to talk to, and very professional. Can't say enough good things!
Here are the pics! More of the install in my album.

Nice, deep tones. No drone. Quiet with start up, sounds good when up in the rpm's. Very Happy

Joke of the day:
Every night after dinner, Merle took off for the local watering hole. He would spend the whole evening there and always arrive home, quite inebriated, around midnight each night.
He usually had trouble getting his key to fit the keyhole and couldn't get the door open. And every time this happened, his wife would go to the door and let him in. Then she would proceed to yell and scream at him, for his constant nights out and always coming home in a drunken state. But Merle just continued his nightly routine.
One day, the wife was talking to a friend about her husband's behavior and was particularly distraught by it all.
The friend listened and said, "Why don't you treat him a little differently when he comes home? Instead of berating him, why don't you give him some loving words and welcome him home with a kiss? Then he might change his ways."
The wife thought that this might be a good idea.
That night, Merle took off again after dinner. And at about midnight, he arrived home in his usual condition.
His wife heard him at the door. She quickly opened it and let Merle in.
Instead of berating him as she had always done, this time she took his arm and led him into the living room. She sat Merle down in an easy chair, put his feet up on the ottoman and took his shoes off. Then she went behind him and started to cuddle him a little. After a little while, she said to Merle, "It's pretty late, dear. I think we had better go upstairs to bed now, don't you think?"
At that, in his inebriated state he replied, "I guess we might as well. I'll get in trouble when I get home anyway!"
Happy friday gentleman

Hey, I almost bought the D3 for my last truck but the DVD based nav did not seem very user friendly. I would still consider it though. Shoot me a PM with what you are looking to get for it, also do you have the wire harness for the audiophile? thanks
Happy Birthday to Me
Got more parts to finish up my suspension build on my truck....well, everything except for the last 2 tires. They are on backorder for another week or so. This should do it (for now!)

38x14.50x16 Toyo M/T
Genuine Gear 4.88's with master install kits
Fabtech Driveshaft Spacer
Pro-Comp AAL
I think it's pretty funny that the tires take up the entire wheel-well of the '07.

Here is my gun range wall all finished up too. Got the front posts cemented in pace, dirt moved, ties stacked. Turned out pretty good I think.
