Yep, I know. thanks for the well wishes.

ruffn-it,

Dang man, sorry to hear that. But hey it's only a friggen truck and you can buy a new part for just about any piece of it! I just hit 115k on mine yesterday so I finally changed the oil.

Okay, I change it every 5k. I think I used a little bit between 2,500/3,000 and now though. Only 4 quarts in the bottle after draining it. That included draining the filter. I run a quart of Lucas per oil change and it really seems to help, at least in my opinion.

O yea, she was scared, but everybody was ok, Thank God! She was the only one in her car, and i had my buddy with me.

After the accident happended we were pretty much blocking the whole road on a little bridge, and another car came through the same puddle of water i went through and almost plowed right into us, pretty scarry!

Trucks at the body shop now, but like I said earlier, i only had a small dent in my fender where my brush guard torqued and the left side was pushed into the fender. Insurance company is paying for a new stainless guard too

O and the other day i replaced the upper and lower balljoints on the screw. When i went to test drive it i made a U turn and i hear a loud pop....then when i was coming to an intersection i went to hit the breaks and the peddle went all the way to the floor... I threw the truck into neutral and hit the emergency brake (which took me a couple stabs, because i havent really ever used it, and in a hurry it was a challenge). The front driver side brake hose was wrapped around a bolt, so when i turned the wheel it pulled the hose and cut it...So then i had to spend the rest of the day trying to find the CORRECT part, because some people who work at advanced and autozone just dont know what there doing!

And pony your right, its just a truck, and its fixable....But i hate sitting around without my truck, and trusting it to a body shop..We shall see how that goes, they said three days and we know how that works.

Guess what I was right.....They said three days for repairs..Starting tuesday when i dropped it off at 8:30 in the morning.

So they should have been done thursday

Then they said it should be friday

Now they say they ordered part to the front bumper that didnt fit so they have to wait for Dealer to send them the new piece. So now hopefully monday.

So all theyve done now is fixed the small dent in the fender..Four days for just that!

AWWW MAN im #499!

So the body shop STILL wasnt done by friday, they finished up monday AFTER i had already gone to work so i picked it up tuesday morning. Then got it home and noticed the bumper was tilted one way, so another trip back up there for them to align it correctly.

Man i hate taking my truck anywhere for repair. If i can fix it myself I WILL!

But im glad to have my truck back

Congrats. Mines going back into the shop since I was rear ended AGAIN. This time it was 264W Bent the frame again and smashed and tweaked some stuff. I was hoping they'd just total the thing but I guess it's not that easy. I still can't believe that they think $3k will fix it all.

Why? Evidently he has an excellent reaction time.
Better than whoever happens to be behind him anyways.

And if it wasn't for that pesky Lexus SUV in front of me I'd have outrun that last guy. Ah who am I kidding, I only have a 4.6. :o

I think it's the new transmission, it's bad juju. Remember that saga? It took over a week to get from NC to Southern VA, 1200 miles later BAM!, go through that crap w/ the body shop, 5 months 29 days (my wife counted it) later BAM! A little Ford on Ford bumper lovin' on the way home from work. At this point I wish I could telecommute!

Just to point out, I was actually stopped both times when I was rear ended.
