Welcome, I'm in Hampton too, that pic of your truck definitely is not though. There used to be a lot of commotion on this thread, not so much anymore.

After a day of mudding back in November of 2013. We should all plan a meetup sometime.

I'm still around. Getting ready to put a replacement axle in my truck. I somehow managed to bend the axle housing or tube and it's been eating wheel bearings. It doesn't take too long to do anymore, but it's a PITB. With the application of $ I'll be getting a new axle with LS. Only 245k without it (LS) lets see how this works.

New axle. Ouch. How did you bend it?

tlottman, don't have anything planned. This is the time of year to hit up the obx though, no tourist.

I think it was e 3rd person who rear ended me enough to bend the frame juuuuust enough to make the axle wear funny. Long story short, with almost 270k on the clock it failed for an e-brake not holding in forward and they said it looked like the new axle was leaking too. I ended up buying another truck and the ole warhorse has been relegated to backup truck. My buddy has it now because the brake lines in his bronco blew Monday on his way to work. That's after we were elbows deep in his beater's transmission in my driveway Sat night.

Ultimately the truck with the swapped axle was sent on its way with almost 300k on the odometer. Twas a good truck.
