Oh, ok. That would be very handy in certain situations.

And thank you for your service. I do my part to keep the country safe, and you keep home safe. That is much needed peace of mind when deployed.

Hey guys, just figured I'd check if any of you have a torsion bar unloading tool before I spend the money getting one. Thanks in advance.

You may want to check Autozone or Oriellys for a rental, unless you just want to have one.

+1, many of the auto parts stores have a loaner/rental tool program. Especially on special tools.

I called the advance in my town, and they didnt even know what I was talking about. I suppose I should try autozone and see if they are any more competent.

For future reference a pulley puller from the auto parts store for like $25 does the job just the same. I've seen the specialized tool going for as much as $100.

Three months, wow. It's got to be about time for another run to the obx. Currently I'm in Hawaii visiting my brother stationed here, man he has a hard life here. Did some 4 wheelin yesterday, unfortunately it was in a jeep and not my rig.

There are some descent places to 4 wheel in Hawaii. Was stationed there for 10 years and got to know some good spots, it was even better for dirt bikes.

another obx trip

Looking into doing another trip to the OBX. It will probably be on a sat or sun. Will probably have a couple jeeps, bronco, dodge and maybe a cheby with me. All are welcome, let me know. Here's a couple pics from last time.
