How's it going? Just checkin in from VB. I have a dark red 89 F150 4x4 that drains my wallet on a regular basis and a 95 white Lightning. I can't wait for it to warm up again so that I can ride with the windows down. Where does everyone hang out during the summer? I know about Genro's and Bass Pro Shop in Hampton but I don't see too many Ford trucks there.

Been driving my beater Saturn around for a couple weeks. Friggin idiots keep trying to run me over. I need to get one of those big orange flags on a stick so people can see me.

I am not aware of any real place to hang out around here. BPS has a round about gathering of cars during the warmer months. I think on Sat or Sunday mornings there's a Jeep club that meets there too.

I don't think it matters what you drive around here, people will still try to run you over. The wonderful on/off ramps are my favorite

You know they do a Polar Plunge here in VA Beach too right? Might save you some gas money next year.

It's funny that you mention painting your car orange, I just got back from being in Philly and their was a small Toyota painted neon yellow. I wish I would of seen it at night to see if it glowed in the dark. The driving up there was very interesting to say the least. All but they do have great cheese steaks, brought me back 4 regular, and a regular is twice the size of a Subway.

I drive our Saturn a lot more lately too, but it's amazing how people tend to see you so much better in the truck.

BTW, I'm in Va Beach, but have met Raoul and some of the others at one of the first meets Troyer put together down here. I'll warn you now Raouls just as funny in person, and I think Troyer is even more intense on his knowledge of all things vehicle related. Within minutes Raoul was telling jokes, and Mike was talking about molecular sheer of tranny fluid due to overheating.

Sparkadelic,

Did you hit Pats King of Steaks or Genos? They need a real steak place down in this area, they would make a killing! At least we have Five Guys Burger and Fries. You can hear the arteries hardening when you eat that stuff.

Oh man thanks a lot, no pressure.
This fits in perfectly with my thread where I was supposed to be so good looking.
And the thread with my claim to benchpress small 4 cyl automobiles.

Oh, and about that roll I was flashing around that day claiming to be rich, it was just a twenty wrapped around a wad of singles and I had to give the money back to my brother-in-law after the meet.

Signmaster,
I ate at Lee's Hoagie Shop, it's just north of Philly. I was at Willow Grove NAS. I have eatin at Geno's before though. Both good places. I learned during a previous trip not to mention that I am a Dallas Cowboy fan though

Well I missed the whole shebang. My Troyer fans are sitting under the bench in the garage and I have one of the fried fuse holders sitting above my desk right now. They've been there for close to a year now, I think the fan controllers got fried because I wired new fuse holders back inline with them and never got the fans to work again. I might get around to testing the fans and components individually at some point, but with my schedule I doubt it will be any time soon.

There's a Philly steak place on Tidewater in Norfolk called Philly Steaks that's pretty good. The lady who runs it dad was from Philly and opened the joint years ago. Probably not quite the same, but man are they good.

In case I ever meet any of you in person I'm sorry if I offended you (well not really), I'm not really 6'5" tall, I don't have a black belt in taikwanjujitsu, but I do have a black belt, and a brown one too! If we ever meet, just look for the short troll looking guy with no social skills.

BTW it's good to be back on the East coast, that other place is strange.
