I'm not up to much, just enjoying the nice weather. I have to take a spruce dwarf back to Andersons this weekend and get a replacement. I planted two of those suckers and one killed over whithin a week. The second one is still kicking strong. At $75 a pop, I hate to see it die.

oh, I'm also waiting on Lowes to show up in the next week and put in my new windows. I'm torn about that because new windows will be nice, but I don't want to pay for them......

I know the feeling man. I had our windows replaced earlier this year, it wasn't cheap but they look good and are a hell of a lot more efficient than those 50 year old single pane windows I had before.

o and finally broke down and bought an XBOX 360, and of course HALO 3. I know.. I know probably too old for it...but i was hooked on the first two halo's on my original XBOX (that blew a couple months into the XBOX 360's release, and even more ironically my buddy's xbox did the same thing a few weeks after mine blew...something smells fishy about that)

and sorry, cant comment on the windows, the house i bought in dec had all new replacement windows...so they look pretty nice.

Good news though truck is back and lookin good, although im really looking at getting a f250 4door fx4

 

Why don't you just see if they have a game available for the 360 featuring the F250? That would save you alot more money.....

I would love to have a new 250 myself, but I can't bring myself to ask the wife...... She said I'm not allowed to have any new toys until she gets the new ring she wants.

 

No word on my truck yet. I was looking at a (gasp) 4runner as a replacement but after doing some research I think they're out. I thought they got better gas mileage than they do. They don't do much better than my truck did and were not nearly as useful, so why buy one? I may end up with a POS beater. We'll see.

 

Aint nothing wrong with a beater. I drive one on a daily basis to work. Yep, she is one ugly broad, but it does the job. 97 Kia sephia....150K miles on it and makes all kinds of racket when you drive her, but she is still holding up.......

 

I was looking at a Saturn. Had one in HS and beat it to pieces, twice. Just found out that ANOTHER shop is working on my truck's frame. I'm none too happy about this.

To date myself I'd have to say I had a Gremlin or Datsun B210 or maybe a Rambler Classic. Of course a cool guy would have had a Nova.

I'll always fondly remember those days after I got my drivers license in high school.
Those were the best six years of my life.

I'm a youngin relatively speaking. They came out in 91 FWIW. I also had a 69 Mustang in HS, but I have yet to drive that basket case anywhere outside of the driveway. :o

If i did by a superduty it would be a year or two old, make it a lil cheaper to afford. And i really love the new 2008's so i may wait a little before i really start looking.

I used to drive an old 4 banger beater, worked great. I gave it away when i bought my truck..And if i didnt only have to drive 3 miles one way to work, Id have another 4 banger to cruise to work with.
