Sorry for the delay. No problems so far. No real noticed gains either. Does sound nice and throaty upon hard acceleration.

Safe travels man. My In-laws left Christmas morning and drove half way home before it stopped raining on them. It rained all the way in when they came here.

Ford F150 tonneau cover - free

Posting in this thread, because I do not want to ship, so targeting locals...

I have a black vinyl tonneau cover that came on my 99 F150 as a factory option. Snaps closed using a plastic insert into "u" channels, no snaps. It fits 97-03 F150 6.5' fleetside bed, may fit others, but definitely not flareside or Screw beds.

It has a couple cracks at the rear corners that I have taped over, but otherwise is in pretty good shape. The hardware is fine, in case someone needs a replacement part.

I got a new cover with a toolbox, and so I don't need this one anymore. I hate to toss it, so...

Free to a good home!

Replied to your email. I'm in Hampton, near the AMC24.

Good to meet you, Todd! Hope the cover works out for you, and good luck with the engine swap!

I know you are over on the Southside but, just how many AMC 24's do you think we got on the Peninsula?

Hawkpilot is an old old member.
I remember how excited he was about getting his truck eight years ago.
He was also one of the first to post step-by-step instructions (with Pics).
I don't even remember what is for but I do remember thinking "wow, he's posting pics and instructions".

Hey Raoul, I remember you from way back, too! Darn right I have been on here a long time, look at my join date!!!

I guess the board got upgraded at some point and most of my old posts got lost or whatever, and the member data got reset somehow (I actually joined in 1999). I am pretty sure I had a few hundred posts back in 2000 or so.

I guess I didn't get on here for a few years, well at least I didn't post. I still looked up a thing or two, but only recently found the little slip I wrote my password on, and decided to log in and join the discussion! hahha.

The post you refer to is my speaker installation. It is linked at several sites (but not here, lol, dunno why) and is available if you follow the link in my sig.

And yeah, The AMC 24 is by the "Books a Million", though generally we use the 24 to locate the other stores in the plaza, lol.

Oh yeah, ya wanna see what I have been up to the last couple years?
