Gotcha, South Norfolk is the part on the other side of the water (pretty much in Portsmouth) Are you in the BAE shipyard over there? Across the water from Waterside? I think the Austin is in dock over there, or is it the Ponce? One of those.
Hey,
Actually, I'm just past the shipyard. St. Helena's annex. Actually, right now I'm on my way to Texas, but will be back in a couple weeks. I'm on a Salvage/Tug that used to be Navy, but my company (Military Sealift Command) just took over.

Nope, still here. Just been busy. I check in and look around when I have time. How have you been?
Doing well, thanks for asking. I will say that Accounting is kicking my **** though.
Had to work on the truck after the hurricane (I got water everywhere) and now I need some new tires for her. I fear Raoul has completed his home bar and will never be seen in person again.
Whatcha been up to?

Knock on wood. Yes the truck seems to be okay, but MAN what a time. Long story short, I had the exhaust UNDER WATER on one particular street while on my way to pick up a Brother of mine who had surgery the previous day. I was doing 10mph with it floored and was slowing down. LOL I hit a few spots of water a foot or so deep and ended up splashing water everywhere. I had water up to the top of two plugs, the #1 and #8 cylinders. Talk about a bad misfire!
When I pulled the COPs you could barely see the top of the little nipple on the plugs. Ended up frying the #1 COP. I need to drain and refill the diffs and transfer case. Oh yeah, I had problem with my e-fans too, but I've found a temp (Redneck) fix until I can find a marine fuse block.
How do you like that cap? I want to get one, but I'm too cheap.
BTW welcome smitty.

Looks nice! I like the looks of my tonneau cover, but I probably wouldn't have bought one on my own...that cheap thing again.
It does limit the size of cargo you can carry, although I did manage to bring a chest freezer home from Newport News. I just couldn't see much behind me for the drive home.

Guess it comes from working in Chesapeake for 22 years (South Norfolk right now) and living a couple of miles from the border.
