I've had good luck with Beach Ford and Freedom Ford.

Thanks in advance....
I've bought vehicles from Bowditch, and Beach Ford, but the best place I found was Williamburg Ford. I went to them last year when I bought my Mustang and was very pleased with their up-front attitude and their professional service. In fact I will drive 40 minutes to get there for service, rather than my local dealer if at all possible.

I was trying to reply the other day but was having computer 'issues'. I asked a buddy about Cavalier Ford. He said depending on who you can talk to you can get a good deal. I'll get the guys name if you want. I had good luck with Larry Cope at Freedom on Military Highway, but he's no longer there. Then again I walked in with a truck in mind, gave them a price, and ended up paying $257.57 over that out the door. FWIW

I live in Yorktown and am trying to find out who installs the 2.5" leveling kit on this side of the water?

Larry, I would imagine you could get it done at most of the local shops here. There is a slew of them on 17, so I'd just give one of them a call and see what they say. Good luck.

By the way, what does your truck look like. I work at the CG base in Y-Town, maybe I've seen it before. Take care.

Which School? Maybe I can find out something for you. I work in the IT Dept, so I know pretty much everyone on base. Good luck too.

ISR instructor billet. Not to jinx myself but I'm not too hot on me getting that specific job. It's a GG12 which is fine by me, but I could not check all of the boxes that they asked in the affirmative. I know ISR, but I have no exposure or experience with it from the USCG side and hence and not up on their TTP. We'll see though, sounds like it could be a fun job.

you can fish off of the peir at the CG base if you want, also there is a boat ramp that puts out in Wornly Creek if you have a boat. If you want to try the peir, let me know and I can tell you how to get to MWR to get a pass. I thought about taking my son there this coming Sat, but haven't made up my mind yet.

Is it open to the public? I no longer have a contractors ID so I can't get on base. At Chetam you had to have a pier pass, but I don't remember what you had to do to get one. IIRC it involved a letter on Command letterhead.
