I thought about it but not likely. We just kicked off 2 major projects and the client wants the work completed yesterday it seems like. I'm the Ops Manager for the Tidewater region for my firm.....it's really hard for me to get away unless we're light on work, and right now were busier than ever.

Sounds like you guys are going to have a great time though. Please share your pics/videos when you get back. I'm looking forward to them.

And Ruffn-it....I think your help last week did the trick....thanks again.

Ruffn-it, let me know if you want some company when you go to Deep Creek. Thats not too far from me. I have some similar snow driving pictures of driving my truck through 2'+ of snow after the big storm 2 years ago. That was before the lift, would like to see how it does now in the deep stuff...

PS last time I was at Carova, I pulled a Hyundai Santa Fe out of the soft sand and all the way back to pavement, about 5 miles. That thing couldnt go anywhere, even with 10psi in the tires. The only way he got as far as he did is because he drove on the packed wet sand to get there, then high tide came....

MAN.....if they would have had one of these in silver...probably would have bought one last week. SWEET truck throughout. Interior was nice as chit too.

Keeping my rig though. It's final.....dropped some money on it this week so there's no turning back now.

Shoot man I'm rooting for you actually. Just making you aware of the possibilities. Last trip I went on, buddy of mine had 4wd but didn't know it was broken. He had just bought the truck a few days before....lift, big tires,...all that. In short, he didn't make it very far. BUT....I will say that where we were was MEGA soft. You guys might have better conditions in Carova.

Like I said, I hope it does well for you. Good luck!!!!......and as we say on my detailing forum....PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

Wo, small pic. Il assume its nice...lol

Just so you guys know, right now theres five vehicles going. Two jeeps, mine, fraige, and formula. My brother-in-law is bringing his son, hes like ten, so don't be afraid to bring any family or anything. Il have my cheby budy riding with me (cuz hes too chicken to bring his). Im going to bring my tire inflator if it gets here before then, maybe a 12k come along if it gets hairy (not planning on it, but just in case), tow strap, shovel, I've got these tow truck in a box (from when I had my 2wd), there are basically traction aids, strips of carpey or 2x6 with bolt heads in them work too.

Im looking forward to fraige's truck suprising us too, stick it to the 4x4 men. (but do you have a pull point in the front to pull you out?) Heck il try it out in 2wd with just my locker and see how it goes. We are planning on leaving sometime in the morning and coming back sometime in the evening, but you can also meet us later or leave early if you had too, we can exchange #s. Im coming from hampton, so is at least one jeep, il figure out when where we would meet. Formula, you still in hampton?

I don't know what the heck is going on with the pic. I tried to resize so it's not too big. It still shows as big on my screen though....even in the thread. Weird. How about now?

Nevermind....guess not.

I don't have the white screw anymore. I sold it while I was on deployment. I bought another 2002 FX4 but this time in a screw. I now live in Chesapeake. Here are a few pics.

New and current truck

Here are the old trucks

First 2002

The 2010

Bought this for the current 2002 and decided to go with with a lightning set up instead.

I'll post up pictures when I get the lightning setup installed.

Here is a pic of the pup for S&G's

She is a lot bigger now. That is when I got her in Sep.

I'll PM you ruffn-it with my number and we can meet up in the AM and head out in convoy style!

Saw teh for sale ad on the blower. If I wasn't getting ready to regear, rebuild my rear end, I would jump on it. Wish I was still living in Elizabeth City, I would be driving up to Va, and meet up with yall.
