Mmmm, mudd. 9k ouch, what do you have and what did you have to fix. Where you coming back too?

I'm hoping to make a run to obx sometime this month or next. Just so I can drive around on the sand, maybe go thru the 4x4 community. Theres alot less people out there now that the season is over.

Let me know when you want to make this obx run!!! I need to get the truck off the pavement and the new pup to the water. I hope she likes the water being a black lab and all!

^that sucks, 9k though, almost worth looking into another rig. How did you blow the motor in 7 years, hope it wasnt the big tires, lift and that programmer (been thinking of getting me one).

Formuladriver, il let you know, il probably have a buddy with a dodge 2500 and maybe another with a jeep coming too. Are you only able to go on weekends?

Bigsur your free to jump on the ban wagon if you want

well it was originally less than that. it was actually the wiring harness that caused the whole mess in the first place. connections "went out" after replacing the notorious VCT on both sides. when hooked back up they were just so beat up (wiring harness) that it decided not to read the sensors in there started up and then backfired NASTY then put a hole in the oil pan and cracked the damn block. so it wasnt from having fun with the truck i blame the damn ticking that comes with that motor ford put in. enough rant. have a good weekend gents

oh if you want to get a lift done dont go to one of the major shops. i met this guy who lives out by blackwater in VB/chesapeak that does some sick nasty stuff. i can drop you his email and he says if you find a better price anywhere he will beat it no problem. not for money but because they like it. check out roughneck offroading on facebook.

Would almost consider a run with you guys but things are just too crazy right now. Way too many other trips coming up in Oct and Nov. Throw in work and family; I'm spent. Maybe next time.

The wifey is getting me a new Kenwood head unit for xmas. In-dash navigation, 6.2" touchscreen, full IPOD control, Pandora/Sat ready, bluetooth, AND BACKUP CAMERA.....for hooking to my trailer. Can't wait.

You guys putting them in yourself? I would love a back up camera, and a dvd/gps screen would be nice, just concerned about installation.
