? Did you get a chance to go look at the truck? I think you said you would by this past weekend, or was it this one?

Bill, I wish I understood this thread. I thought you knew what was being done to your truck (would anyone just let a guy have his truck for over a year and not know what was being done to it). I really got confused when I read what Tallimeca said about being happy with whatever you end up getting. You sir have a great deal of paitents.

PS I still don't know what you are getting (I guess it's none of my business).....is it as it seems in this thread.....you don't know what your getting either?

Not trying to start something, just wondering!

Patience or not, I am dumbfounded as to how one can just hand over any "new" vehicle to a tuner for 6+ months and still be in the dark about what the end result will be......not to mention you are going to probably be shelling out some big bucks and a lot of long term frustration if your goals aren't met.

hdmlnium, I tip my hat to you for letting Jim do what he see fit with your vehicle at your expense. I can only imagine what it feels like to make a truck payment each month knowing it is eternally parked in someone elses garage. As long as you are happy in the end that's all that truly matters.

UPDATE,
I do know what is being done to my truck, I will be picking it up real soon. The plan was to pick it up on Sunday, but it may be as late as Wednesday depending on weather. So it will for sure be back in my garage by the middle of next week.
All of the details will be released by Jim and myself by then.
Thanks for all of your concern, I will be racing real soon.
Bill

What is the confusion? Jim is building him a 4V 5.4 with a 201 blower like in the picture. Thats why the truck has been there since August. No?

Anyone that can afford the mods Bill and some others here do I doubt they are making payments like the rest of us.

Sorry

My appologies to Bill, and anyone else who became confused by anything I posted, I am in no way on the "inside track" of what's going on with Bill's truck.......that's Bill's buisness not mine. I just know by following the progress of Bill's project from when he first posted about it, that it was a very "extreme" project that required alot of R&D, and there have been some bumps in the road along the way.

I was just simply speculating that if for some reason, he didn't end up with everything done to the truck that they had planned.....worse case scenario would be putting a built motor and upgraded blower on the truck....much like many have already done......would still be awesome!!! Like I said, second best isn't bad at all........more than I have

Glad to here MLNIUM will be back up in our neck of the woods soon

I suppose it's not what was originally planned; but you're cool with this obviously?

I hope you end up with a strong truck. It's the time frame of the project that's laughable. How long has it been Bill?

Thumbs up

Don,
Thanks for the tease picture, I can't wait to see it in person on Wednesday. She does look pretty tough.

You think she looks tough wait till you hear her, oh my gawd.
The stepped headers, and catless 3" mid pipes, give it a sound unlike anything I have ever heard. Allmost sounds like a 428 cobra jet motor. I had the misfortune to be standing right infront of the exhaust tips when Jim reved it up, my ears still hurt.
