Joe,
Wouldn't that be sweet, that is my goal to hit single digits in the 1/4 mile. Is this truck going to be capable of it? I hope some day, if not with this combo, than I don't know where to go next. Only time will tell. Keeping my fingers crossed.

BadAzz516,
Yes I will be at the JDM Day and Fords at Englishtown, I really hope to get it back soon enough to get some time on the motor so I can go for some good times at that event. It will be great to finally meet you as well. It should be a great time.
Can someone give me the dates for the JDM day and Fords at Englishtown?

Bill

Bill,

With all the new technology that is out there the transmission isn't a concern.
When we hit that bridge we will figure how to get across.
The monster box will do it's job.

I use to do some testing for Ford for the off road desert teams.
The transmission was a E40D.
They called it ultroduty.
I only have one left .
If we can't get a full season out of yours , we will use this one.

I might have to do to your truck what we use to do for the desert guys that were pushing 700 to
800 HP.
The new EEC's are 225K .
The computer can get so busy running the engine that it could be a problem for the transmission.

What I mean by this there is a four ground loop time (engine) and there is a back ground loop
time ( transmission)

That means the engine is the computers main priority.

On my 95 Lightning I was making 692 HP at the rear wheels.
That is about 760 flywheel.
The computer got so busy running the engine it forgot about the transmission to makes shifts .
The EEC in 95 was only 56K.

If we do run into this problem with yours I already have a fix for it.

HP the technology out there if we get 1350 out of a 4.6 valve there is no reason why can't get
good numbers out of yours.

The pictu.res will keep coming

Now see what all of ya'll made me do. I just took a dump in my pants.
Well my hat is off to Jim and Bill.
I want to tell everyone what my dad told me....."Respect the power". With that in mind there is know way I would try to drive that truck. Way over my head.

A couple questions.....Does it have a Main stud girdle? Does it need a stud girdle?

Bill will surely be taking the next step into the Lightning era.....What am I talking about, he is taking about 2 jumps ahead of everyone else.

I know what I will be dreaming about tonight.

Im pretty sure he is talking the speed of the EEC.....

Bill,

Looks great man, Im glad its all coming around for you.... I wouldnt worry about a tranny issue, with all that HP I would think fuel & traction are the keys!!!

Im sure you could get 11's on 22's with that setup, lol.....
