Nope not legal, however many tracks will let is slide since you do have a bar. To be legal i has to be completly welded in, and there are tons of specifcations. Swing out bars (on teh side) are legal in IHRA i think but not legal in NHRA...might be wrong but there is something quirky related to swingouts with nhra...

My intentions were not to hurt your business, my intentions were to get the info needed to make a good buying decision. You refered me to a 'rear end specialist' for my answers and I made my choice from the info gathered from that 'specialist' I am happy you finally said that vs trying to come up with a bogus answer, I got all my answers within miniutes of talkin...
No matter what answer I give you, you will say it is bogus.
Instead of wasting my time , the best option was to refer you to a specialist.

We have a 16,000 square foot building and eleven employees and a million dollar equipment.

I really don't know why svt_ky recieved bad treatment, and i am sure you would like to make good on it all, I just dont see how that is possible with teh comments you have made.....
He did not recieve bad treatment. He made 400 HP and 500 FT. LBS. of torque. I offered to pay him his expences to bring his truck back up so we could test it at our local track and see if there was a problem with it. After numinous bad experiences with him , I still did the right thing with his pulley and his chip. He called me when I wouldn't refund him on the chip because he cut the wires.
He posted pictures of a used pulley when he knows that I sent him a new one.I didn't want him to run any JDM products so I offered him a refund.This was after he made 400 Hp and 500 FT. LBS. of torque. He has now switched to another tuners chip and still his best time is on my chip.(Just the facts)
Anyways i know this is off topic, and i apologize for it. Some might call this a bash, so be it, flame me i dont care, some of you see the bigger picture hiding back in teh shadows...

Now, how about some new pictures of that 5.4 DOHC of Hdml's? I'm really puzzled to know why you didn't use your m166 instead of the Whipple? Or was the blower on the oil tanker that sank last month? It's only $1400 retail, hell, surely your cost is only $199; it will not be much to replace if you didn't insure it. Do you happen to have a legitimate tracking #?

Damn Gen 2 your bustin' ballz tonight. I'm sure Hdml's L will be bada$$ when it's done. Some things take time especially when you are at the leading edge development...The 100 mm Maf is still being fined tuned also...at least that is what I have been told. I have never had dealing with JDM, what I have said is the experiences I have had with your products (the pulley removal saga, the plugs, ect) I have no reason to try out your business. Cliff is prolly one of my best friends, and to see him unhappy is unacceptable. Parts are parts are parts, other than teh chip and pulley your parts are no differant than everyone elses, why should he waste his time to comeback and have them removed? The chip and pulley are gone now, so your part is pretty much finished, line mod soon to be gone... Throttle bodies, fans, pumps, all things people can buy elsewhere... I am still in disbelief you cannot see any wrong doing on your part.

Well my friend you see what happens when you dont treat someone right, they will tell their story (many times over) So you may make the choice to take or not take care of someone but i can assure you it will hurt you in the long run...
You keep hinting its driver error on cliffs part. Beyond the first 60ft what driving is done my friend? He cut a 1.92 60 ft and still ran a 13.20@103. Yes 60fts ccoulda been better, but the mph is simply not there. We dont race dynos, we race trucks. Even a honda makes decent PEAK power. Doesn't mean its fast.
