I apologise, but I didn't even SEE that post from Jim
until yesterday, nor the one that posted the picture of
my wreck under "bad driving".

Again, I was not trying to drag that stuff up again, but
setting the record straight.

The owner started this thread 7 months ago with pictures of the project.

My "agenda" is to see a truck with a blown 5.4L 4V. HD said he'd find out if that's what he was getting and, if it wasn't, he'd admit it. Link.

People ripped fastbolt a new one not long ago for asking for a dyno curve (which to my knowledge never showed up here). I guess I shouldn't be surprised that people would get upset again when someone questions another JDM project...

I hope HD, or someone else, has a 4V soon. I really want to see one...
I won't hold my breath.

No details- that is Bills and Jims job.

 

Stop holding your breath, they already exhist. To my knowledge there was 2 or 3 of them built and sold for about 15k a piece!!!!

They are paying for the R&D. I'm sure if the tuners we deal with had the time, money, and space, they could build us anything we need. Maybe someday, but as of know, i'm very gratefull to what we are offered.

I know WHAT Bill is picking up tomorrow.I agree its bills business to tell everyone who doesnt know If he got the 4V heads and 140 blower and if Jim actually charges only 10% as promised to Him .Concidering the fact that Bill has been MORE than patient.I feel bill deserves all of the above with no exception.With that being said,You cannot base JDMs reputation on Bills truck alone.There are MANY happy JDM customers.There are also a few who have problems .I already know the outcome and I choose to not even comment on it.I agree,Bill has let us follow very closely as promises fade and things didnt work out and I agree that he should give us the honest opinion of how he feels about this after he gets his truck back.He already said he would so we should lay off him.It is NOT his fault ,Think how he feels,hes been without his truck for 1.5 years now.If I waited that long and it wasnt what i was told I was getting from the begining ,I would be locked in a mental institute after a attempted murder charge .What bill needs right now is our support not anything else.I think some of you guys are so scared to pi$$ off your tuners you have been working with,You choose to alow being lied to over and over Excuse after excuse..That I do not agree with. As Jim Cary said in the movie "LIAR LIAR" The truth shall set you free .The tuth is coming to a town near you tommorrow. After a year and a half and a best time before of 11.7,I would expect one hell of a truck after.Its hard to top a 11 second truck but after 1.5 years i hope it is worth it.Keep in mind bill,There are quite a few 10 second Ls out there already.regardless of the outcome,We all know JDMs mods are some of the best out there and he is one hell of a tuner.I will be buying from him in the future.

 

 

you all seem to forget something...........not everyone feels the same about things. It's not like Bill didn't have the option to pull his truck out of there at anytime. You guys talk like Jim was holding his truck hostage or something?????? He had faith that Jim would do the best he could with the truck.........whether it be more or less what they initially wanted to do. There was alot more to the project then some of you even know, but will soon find out.

Plus I think Bill was having too much fun racing his Tahoe!!! (sorry i missed that one)

Once again............after more negative posts........Bill has the support of all the guys from his local track The rest of you should do the same.
