I wasn't around for most of his stuff, but have read a good bit of it. Remember when he came back with another name with tool in it? And lasted like 10 posts before getting booted again!

 

As a Lightning owner... And someone who was around when a thread didn't stay on the front page for weeks, let alone a few minutes. Yeah. It pretty much is.

 

Yea this site used to be full of the who's who of the Lightning world.

 

It seemed like it started to slow down about 3 years ago. The site used to be more active when the homepage was just the forums. When you went to f150online it listed all of the forums on one page and that was the entire site. Now the main page features a bunch of articles that nobody comments on.

The forum which used to be the main feature is now hidden. The series of drop down menus to access the sub-forums don't work properly. Try to get from Forums to F-Series trucks to the 2009 forum, you can't do it unless you thread the mouse in just the right spot. Very annoying.

This needs to be fixed or just go back to the way the main page was previously with just the forums.

I never saw the forum set up that way (or can't remember at least), but I do find it strange that it is no longer that way. The few times when I have to go to the main site and then get back into the forums because I exit out of them accidentally, I think it's a little peculiar that I have to hunt to find them. I'd be fine with it being set up the old way.

I agree that the links don't work, or work how they should. Especially on the mobile site/phones. I kept telling myself that it would get fixed with time, but then I just got used to it

 

organize and make it better. get rid of the 40 different forum sections, I cant find any specific info and write ups and i been on here for years.

If the forum is hard to navigate and produce results it's like a bad phone app. no one wants to use it.

 

I think this place is very well organized. You want to see disorganization, go over to Bass Boat Central. That place has a crap ton of furums.

Now the how to area here could be broken down into individual sections but that will take a lot of work for the unpaid staff.
