Hey fellow fatties! After a quick dig of the original FB thread I discovered I'm not as fat as when that thread first started back in '05. I was 316 then. I hit a low of around 265 in the last year or two, and am 300 even this week. So, I'm still a fat bastard. Though at 6'10" I'm more bastard than fat, unlike you tub-o's.

Random thoughts: P90X kicks ***. I did well with it and will go through another round soon. I have the original original PowerBlocks, the kind that were bigger and rougher than the last generation of smooth-yet-squared models. I love them. Best purchase ever. Along with a healthy diet, I'm giving Mirafit a try. Fun little tablets that absorb fat and pass it through the system without any nasty side effects (ie, sharts). They shave off almost 500 calories from your diet. If you track you nutrient intake and take accordingly they seem to do what they say.

Good luck fatties.

That was last week when I was 308. Lost 8 since then. Hopefully I'll be able to remain focused until 270 before my next drunken triple whopper incident.

yeah, that tends to happen sometimes.

How're things up in old Detroit? I've heard bits and pieces are slowly coming back to life.

LOL. Lies. Detroit is a dump. Michigan still rocks, but the city is worthless.

Life is decent for the most part. Except the being fat part. Still earn'in the cheddah, living the single life and blowing every last dollah of expendable income. Winter was long, been in a funk, looking forward to the summer. That's about it. You?

I can imagine, I remember how long the winters dragged on. Hell, we hit the mid 80s a couple weeks ago! If it ain't the cold, it's the heat

Not much has changed this way... replaced the transmission on the truck, still doing the diving thing (one of the reasons I'm trying to get back in shape again, it's not as easy as it was 5 years ago!) and the wife's about to finish grad school so hopefully I be able to figure out just what this "expendable income" thing is you mention.

I'm not a fatty but I am interested in P90x. Is any equipment required for it?

Buy some Powerblocks and you're set for life. Fatty.

Or you can buy the giant rubber bands if you're on a budget. That's pretty much it. Oh, and you need some place to do chin ups (or just use the bands again). Tubbo.

Buy the Bowflex 552. Adjusts up to 52.5 lbs and trust me that is all you will need. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_88dl5my2ky_e

I've been using them for 2 years now.

Also pull up bar. http://www.amazon.com/Iron-Total-Upp...ef=pd_sim_sg_5

I already have a decent amount of weights (dumbbells, bench, incline, and plates to go with it). Just interested in the P90x.

And Dz, thanks, ya fat douche.

Here's what I got:

and what they look like put together:
I also got a set of 3 bands for when I travel.

X2 on the pullup bar, I got mine from Walmart and it doubles for pushups so you can get an extended range of motion.

Edited to add: The DVDs are maybe $120 from their website. Check ebay and craigslist for cheaper.
