I'm 5'8, 180, and Im a workout freak.
3 days/week, I hit legs and shoulders, chest and tri's, and back and bi's. Twice a week, I get out and run, some steady distance running, and some sprints. Diet includes peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast, Subway or plate lunch for lunch, and grilled chicken/veggies for dinner. On Saturdays, I'll go out and have a big pizza and a few beers with my buddies.

Staying away from cokes, sugar, unhealthy lunches and dinners during the week really will keep weight off of you. On the weekend, kick back a little and satisfy your sweettooth and have a few beers....just be ready to eat right and bust your ba//s in the gym the next week

Despite running my first half marathon, I'm down only .8 lbs this week to 235.2. I guess I took a few too many liberties with my food choices this week. My stretch goal is to be at 230-231 by 6/18, and 225 by sometime in July. The weight loss has really slowed down as I've progressed, but a lot of that may be due to poorer food choices due to summer barbecues, softball games, etc..


How is everyone else doing?

I weigh in on Saturday morning, I've been told I am not allowed to golf at all now, I can't ride my dirtbike, or lift, or basically do anything besides walking and stretching. Last weekend was a bad weekend foodwise, we were out of town for a wedding, then a graduation party. I'm just hoping I maintained my last weight :/ I hate being limited and having my only source of weight loss being what I eat and how much I walk. I want to get out and run and lift and do fun things. I'm going against the no-golfing rule tonight, I have an 8 o'clock tee time at the mini golf course

Good to see people's progress!!

Shame on me for not updating this when I got back...

Day 187

I had gotten down to almost 145 but then traveled out of the country for work. When I got back I was so happy to have good food available everywhere, I gained about 10 pounds over 2 weeks!

So I'm right around 155 now, but haven't been to the gym to do anything in over a month. I'll start back up again on Monday.

Next week I have my yearly dive physical, except this time instead of going to my regular doctor, I'll be going to Duke's Hyperbaric Facility. They'll run a bunch more tests than my normal doc, including pulmonary function tests, EKG, Chest Xray, etc. Should be interesting.

Ive lost 10-15 pounds in the past few months. Ive been about 234-236 lately. This morning I stepped on the scale and it showed 232.5.

I stopped eating lousy lunches during work and instead of a bag of chips Ive been eating an apple.

I start P90X today with the fiance'.. i go to the gym 3-4x a week, but she is self conscious about the gym. So i told here i would do the program with her. I weigh in at 185lbs, 5'-8".. i was 165 about 1 1/2 years ago.. it's catching back up, so it's time to take it off and keep it off. Honeymoon in December, and i don't want people rubbing me down with lard and trying to push me back in the ocean when i am laying on the beach in St. Lucia...lol..
I'll check in here regularly with updates.. if i can move, that is..

Down .2 lbs last week. Read : No change.

Can't do much but I'm really starting to push to break the 230 mark. Should be closing on our first home this week or next, so the packing and moving is good exercise.

Another honeymooner to St. Lucia, where y'all going, Sandals? My wife and I went there in Nov '08, can't wait to get back!

I've been lazy lately and haven't worked out. Maybe tomorrow.

Yup, Sandals.. we think the Halcyon resort.. we are not golfers, just want nice beaches and water sports..

We stayed at the Regency, got a great deal on a room over there. Since the shuttles will take you to any of the 3 Sandals on the island it's not a big to to bounce between the resorts.

I'm sure y'all will have a blast!
