I re-read it and he says he's been known to rip one 8-12 seconds. That's not farting, that's crapping yourself for God's sake!

This spring I witnessed a person on a motorcycle that was either texting or entering a number on his/her cell phone while steering with his/her knees! I couldn't tell if it was a guy or gal, because at least they had the sense to have a helmet on!!! He/she traveled for more than two blocks like that, before trees got in the way and I couldn't see them any longer. They think safety and wear a helmet, but steer with their knees while texting??? UFB

I sleep while I am driving.....is that a problem?

I have seen people with a newspaper across the steering wheel and they are doing 70mph in heavy traffic. It's unreal.

A couple of years ago I was on a 4 lane highway in the semi and car started passing me.......the chick driving was topless Now if that isn't a distraction I don't know what is.

You mean some Think they can.

Those who you say can't, might think the same thing.

Then those who know not to do it, another category all together.

Once they outlaw texting and driving, then they'll also need to take care of outlawing radio controls, cd changes, mp3's, climate controls all other things that take your attention away from the road.

Those who are so against phone while driving, do you pull over to do any of the above? Doubt it.

Sure, texting and driving is bad, but just like how drinking and driving is illegal, it's still going to happen.

You all DO know that already police can hit you with "Undue care and attention" in ANY case where your eyes aren't on the road?

It's just another "Save the children" topic.

Don't know where that law is, but not in IL. Must be a CAN thing.

No, Greg's mom was 53 I seem to recall. I think that would be a save a life in general topic.

Never sent a text message in my life and surely won't do it when driving. I see to many idiot's trying to talk or text while driving 60 to 70 mph every day. Just too dangerous for me to put lives in danger just to "chit chat" on a cell phone.

I don't text and drive. Too dangerous. Never been one of those people. When i was 16 i rearended someone and my dad still thinks i was texting . I was actually just half asleep at 6:30 a.m. in slow rolling traffic and extreme rain...also pretty dangerous

I know, I know, dangerous as hell and no excuse for it.

I feel better just confessing it here.
Just don't suggest I pull over for everytime, if I did that I might as well walk everywhere.
Good point. People with asthma shouldnt be allowed to drive. And old people. And people with glasses. And people that sneeze. WAYYYYYYY too dangerous.

Granted I pick and choose my spots on the road when I do it, like no cars around or at red lights, but I'll man up and admit it.

And if that scares ya'll to where it keeps you off the roads around me and outta my way.......AWESOME!

That's the beauty of a QWERTY keyboard on a phone.
yup, you sound like me... am i replying to this from the road? maybe...
